Jelqing when barely erect

I’m trying to prevent any injuries and I just started jelqing and I found that after about 5 or 10 mins I can jelq with barely an erection and it seems like I’m getting good blood flow and it looks like it would give me good length. Is it harmful to jelq with little erection? Any pros or cons?

I would let it get more erect, think boner but not boner enough to penetrate a vagina. About 50-70% erection

It is said that jelqing with a low erection level will hit more length than girth. I think hity 2 birds with one stone and jelq at a higher erection level so as to get both length and girth.

It’s fine too do what you are doing. It’s unlikely to be harmful. From your description, you’re essentially stretching with a little extra attention to the blood flow. If it’s working for you I’d say keep doing it.

It’s true you’ll hit more of your girth with higher levels of erection, but perhaps that isn’t the point of what you’re doing.

At any rate, to answer the question: no. I doubt you’ll injure yourself this way, and it may well help you gain length, which seems to be your goal.
