Hey guys, this wasn’t much of an issue before, but its gotten to be like this over time.

So I jelq like this…
(After warming up, stretching, pumping)

I masturbate and get myself a really good erection, I practically edge.
I wait it out from 100% erection down to 90%, and that is when I start jelqing. My erection drops about 10% every 30 seconds as I’m jelqing, since it isn’t pleasurable, and my body knows I’m just trying to get an accomplishment done, so its not excited. After about 3 mins im down to 40-50% erection, which is almost like a stretched flaccid.

At this point I know jelqing is no good, so I have to masturbate up to 100% again, and start all over.

Is this bad to do since when I masturbate I lose all that trapped blood the jelqing has gained me? Or is it not about trapping as much blood as possible, but rather just pushing it around that’s important?

Let me know if I need to change something here.

I have the same problem.

Try doing the jelqing before pumping and see if that helps.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

When you are losing blood just clamp/ squeeze the bottom of your penis with one hand (like you would when your jelq) and then use your other hand to stimulate yourself back to a decent size erection. Then you can begin jelqing again. The clamped hand works like a cock ring, it keeps the current blood in the penis and allows new blood to flow in. I always have to use this method when I need to apply more lube.

Who said jelqing while not 100% erect is “no good” ? .. In fact I read that if you’re looking for length gains it’s better to jelq with an erection of 20% - 40% but if you’re looking for girth gains then it’s better to be 60%+

Same happens to me too. I just tell myself whatever my level of hardness is, I’m doing something productive. (Stressing about being 90% erect was the surest way of to reach soft-on!)

Otherwise, maybe some porn will help keep you hard.

When I started jelqing I couldn’t maintain the 60-80% erect it would always go totally flaccid after a couple minutes, then I came up with the idea of watch porn and when I reach the desired erection stop and jelq and repeat the process until I finished the session, or see soft core porn or pics, these stuff that don’t give me a 100% erection

I stroke it to get it back up as well. I don’t see why you feel like you need to get it at 100% and let it go down to 80%. When my erection gets too soft I get it back up around 60%-70%, it wouldn’t be constructive to make it get to 100% again
