I am just starting to jelq and the shower and I was looking for some help.

First of all I have a hard time getting to 50%+ any tips? I have tried masturbating some but it doesn’t help much and I don’t want to masturbate and then get to hard since it says not to jelq over 80% erection.

Second I’m not sure if it’s the shower issue or jelqing in general. When I try jelqing I usually get the skin from my scrotum keeps getting pulled up as I jelq. This makes it difficult to do another stroke afterwards. Am I doing it wrong? Does anyone have any tips?

When I jelq in the shower I usually slap my penis against my leg a bit to get the blood flowing. Have you considered using cable clamps to keep your scrotum from riding up?

I have turkey neck so I know ALL about scrotum riding up with the stroke. My suggestion would be cable clamping it or possibly doing a one handed jelq while holding the scrotum in an OK grip with the other hand. best of luck!

If I do this does it look more like a dry jelq where I go up, kegel and bring my hand back down quickly?

I tried doing this once but it still rode up. Should I be gripping tighter? I don’t want to grip too tight because I remember reading that you can get bruising and discoloration.

It depends if you’re looking for length or girth.
If length, you don’t need to be jelqing at too much of an erection level, 20% - 40%.

I used to pull the skin up from my scrotum, but after a while when jelqing becomes more familiar it becomes less of a problem.

That’s my problem. I’m looking to gain girth more then length so it’s more ideal for me to be fairly erect
