What’s up guys. I’ve noticed that when I jelq, when I get about 1/3 down the shaft that some blood escapes through my grip. I am able to finish the jelq and I HAVE been getting the red dots on my glans leading to me believe that jelqing is working. The only time this blood loss does not occur is when I am incredibly hard, in which case I feel more pressure in the head towards the end of the jelq. When I am flacid I have noticed that my shaft is sometimes in an hour glass shape (fatter at the base and close to the head, while skinnier in the middle). I can’t help but think this shape has something to do with the blood loss in my jelq, seeing as the blood loss occurs at roughly the same point on my shaft where it is skinner. When I am erect however, I lose the hour glass shape.

I was wondering if anybody else had this blood loss when they jelq. Is it normal? Is it a negative sign? If it can be correct, how so?

Try to grip tighter at the sides.

Jelq up to the thinner part and hold the grip there for a few seconds, this is a weak area. It will probably eventually fill out as you become more conditioned.

The red dots sounds like you are getting pressure. I find that if I do a couple of Kegls that helps to push the blood into the shaft. Sometimes I kegl through the whole stroke to keep the blood flowing in. Give it a try and see if it works for you.

Also make sure you do a good warm up. And a warm down. That will help with the red dots.

I have only had about 8 workouts or so mind you, but I still have not had any bruises or red dots from jelqing. Is this sort of bad as I would rather have over-worked it once, then I know at least I am doing it correctly and can ease off, then perhaps not having correct form and not working it at all. Anyone have an opinion on this? Also, could someone post a link to a picture of someone with these red dots? I know must sound a little creepy, but I really don’t think I’ve gotten them and kinda want to see what exactly they look like so I know it if I get them. Thanks.

Gimli, I don’t think that you should look for these dots. Let it be the exception and not the rule. They are common yes, but they are not exactly needed for growth. Personally I have never had any spots and I am gaining well.

Thank you very much for your response. I have read your gains and so am very glad to hear what you have said. Just because I was thinking about pushing myself harder and harder until I see spots, then easing off a bit. I really did not want to do that as the idea scared me quite a bit, and now because of your post I will just keep doing what I’ve been doing. Thanks again man, honestly, you have cleared up so much confusion for me.
