I am aware that bodybuilders use creatine to ‘bulk’ and do any PE’ers use this as part of their routine. Are there any advantages and disadvantages to using this supplement?

Not applicable to the type of muscle in the penis.

The penis is almost entirely made of erectile tissue ( spongy fills with blood ) and fascia. What little muscle there is consists of smooth muscle that regulates blood flow.

Creatine is actually not used to bulk. It looks like you are bulking because creatine draws water into the muscles.

Creatine is used to provide more energy and endurance for maximal workouts by optimizing ATP production.

BPEL 7 EG 5.5 NBPEL 6.5 Flaccid length 4.5. Started Jan 2015 at bpel 6.5 nbpel 6.0 and eg 5.2 flaccid length was 3.5

I have reached my goal. At least for now.

Honestly if you’re going to use creative for anything, be careful. It can cause kidney problems and other issues. I’m no medical expert but I abused it for 3 months taking 10g a day with no decon breaks, sometimes when I missed a day I would take 15g to make up for the lost day. I got really bad kidney issues and rectal issues and I’m still having them sometimes today.

I got myself off of it about a month ago, first things noticed were that my balls are much smaller and don’t hang even half as much as they did before, and also my dick feels less watery and more firm. I believe creatine did help my penis get more girthy but with water and not with actual gains.

I feel much better of it and I even lost 5 pounds of water weight lol. My muscles look much more tight and strong and personally I’m never going to go on it again, but if you can follow the directed routine the go ahead.

I was on it for a few months to. I read a lot about it and talked to some friends and they said it’s basically a money pit.

LiquidHeroine, what brand of Creatine were you using?

Also, were there any other ingredients in the supplement you were taking aside from Creatine?

Two different subjects. And if you use it with weights, just know when you bloat up like man of steel it’ll go away…… I wish i’d known that >: (

I honestly don’t remember. All I know is that I bought it from Suplement superstore and bought their brand name creatine. I weened myself off of it and now the only supplements I use are fish oils and multiviatimins and nutrients.

I don’t even take protien powder as I believe that protien from food is much healthier and better recieved than protien put into a shake form, but once again, I’m not a doctor just an avid lifter hoping to not only get bigger and stronger but also help my body because as fit as it can be.

I would have thought that when doing kegels, you are actually working on the pelvic floor muscles as opposed to the smooth muscle as described here in this thread. Could anyone elaborate on this one?

Creatine is used to provide more ATP synthesis for more energy production by major skeletal muscles - longer more exhaustive workouts.

Any effect of creatine on the pubococcygeus and levator ani muscles of the pelvic floor will likely be unnoticeable.

Regardless, the PC muscles don’t add to the size of the penis other than by supporting healthy EQ.

Adding to the thread hijack - I use creatine and protein powders as part of my daily supplement for my lifting. As others in the thread have said - depends on the brand, but also the person. My trainer believes that doing all your workout without supplement, to see what you yourself are capable of, is the most rewarding experience, no doubt he’s right. He says to just eat more lean meat - my problem is I just can’t eat that much, so half my daily protein comes from shakes. I take other stuff too, as detailed in my progress thread, but just thought I should throw it out there that different people will respond completely differently to different dietary inputs. Not wanting to defend any particular regime, just my two cents.

I believe completely with what your trainer said. Although I haven’t been lifting as long as some, I have made fairly ok gains and I’m proud of every good workout day I have. i think both working out, on supplements and not, provides a rewarding experience and I honestly believe it should be required of everyone as it is a great stress reliever and it helps you become more healthy in the process.

When I stopped using supplementation I noticed two things, 1. I felt much less full and bloated in the mornings, 2. My muscles lost a little size that was due to water weight. I felt down about the loss but I kept pushing and now I realize that I’m okay with loosing a little size as i would much rather feel healthy and fit and free rather than being bogged down with a hundred supplements.

It’s ones own choice to take supplements, and if you do than more power to you. I believe you should just be careful about taking them and be smart about it. Be responsible for your body and take care of it and if you do that I don’t think you should have any issues.
