Hi, I’m not new to PE. About three months ago, I took my first adventure, and ended up without morning wood. I then halted with the PE. I’m now back to PEing as of yesterday. I’ve been doing more research, and this time I ordered DR. Joel Kaplans penis pump. Today is my second day of PEing, I have been using the pump, and doing the newbie routine, and all is going well. But, my question is for the vets!

I am having a constant problem with keeping an erection while jelqing. While Erect, I start jelqing and then slowly my erections subsides. Is this normal? Should I keep an erection the whole time of jelqing? Or should I just try to use the erection for the flow of blood to the penis, jelq, let the erection subside, and make sure I keep the blood in the penis? I’m basically confused. I hope my questions is clear and all inquires are greatly appreciated!

Assuming that your first experience with PE caused bad PI’s (and it’s not sure, by what are you saying), this just was meaning that you were doing too much. So, adding pumping to the newbie routine isn’t a good idea.

Difficulties holding the erection (60%-70% range, not full erection) while jelqing is not un-common, but again, if the erection subside after few strokes, you are using too much pressure.

You should cut the newbie routine, doing about half of the work scheduled there, and forget the pump for a while.

I never like to be rock hard while jelqing, but you gotta be somewhere near it. Sometimes I have the problem you’re talking about and at other times I can’t keep it from full salute :)

When I can’t keep it up while jelqing, I just glance at some porn every once in a while to help. Sounds overly simple, but that’s the way I like to keep it :D

Of course, when the opposite happens I usually kick on some movie to take my attention.

Thanks for the responses! During the whole session I’m watching porn, besides when I do my stretches. I lube and work up an erection(basically jacking off). Once I hit between 60 to 80% I jelq. While jelqing, I do fill like my veins are ready to explode about 1/2 inch from my glans when I end the stroke. Then my penis subside the erection about after five strokes, I then work up the erection again(basically jacking off).

So marinera, you pinpointed my question.

My new questions are..

1) So jelqing lighter will cause me to keep that 60 to 80% erection?

2) Does jelqing equal to, I would say, masturbating(this is basically how I get my erection, extensive lubing and stroking)? If I compare the two, I would say I am using more pressure on my penis trying to get an erection, than jelqing. Becase I stroke at a very fast pace and are basically giving it a hell of a work out, lol!

Oh and I didn’t get morning wood this morning
3)Should I take this as a Negative PI?.

I’m really to much not concerned about it because I still can get an erection from visual and physical pleasure. Oh, and I do believe I have a Positive PI?My penis feels sore. Oh, and I will lay off the pump!

3) I think not, if it happens one time; however, if you feel sore and you loss morning woods, than you could be overworked; you can have a more precise answer asking to sparkyx about.

Your veins aren’t supposed to feel like that, that means you’re too erect. The general view is that 60-80% jelqs are mainly for girth, and 0-40% jelqs are mainly for length, so maybe you should start from the 0-40%, as length gains are harder to get when you have a lot of girth. I also think they’re less hard on the penis.

If masturbation was a PE technique, all of us would be porn stars by now. If you can compare your jelqs to your masturbation, there’s something very wrong with your jelqs (or your masturbation :P).

Yes. Yes. Yes. Lack of morning wood is one of the things you should watch out for. If it continues, I’d recommend a few days break.

Mdrg, your first response makes alot of sense.

I think the jelq video is very misleading and are why a lot of people overdue it. In the video, the guys penis looks very erect, and looks like he is squeezing the hell out of his member! There should be better notation in the caption for the jelq video, such as what Mdrg describes about percentage of erections.

So in lamens terms, the whole thing behind jelqing is to basically get blood into the penis, then make sure you keep the blood in the penis by grabbing at the base to cut off blood flow from the body to the penis, push the blood through the veins towards the glans, use the second ok grip to stop the blood from entering back to the body, and repeat the same process as the first hand?
