Jelq recovery times

Jelq recovery times

I’ve read the articles on how to Jelq over the past year or so and have done it successfully. But my question is, are these rest times based on scientific research? Or just what seems to be effective? I know that the damaged cells caused by jelqing seems to repair over a day. But is there any proof that these cells are totally repaired by the next time you start the exercises again? I know that it’s not a muscle but in resistance training, your muscle groups take 6 to 7 days to fully recover before you start working them out again. You could take less rest and still get results but in the end your working with still damaged tissue..

Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Shaun

As far as I know this isn’t based on scientific research. Science believes that enlarging the penis isn’t possible, so are we lucky that there are people who don’t follow everything science says :) .

Nearly everything involved with PE is taken from personal experience. With the exception of kegels, everything has been invented by people themselves and isn’t backed up by any scientific proof. The recovery rate is fine in my opinion because kegels are the quickest recovered muscles in the body, probably because they involve the reproduction functions of the male. With that knowledge it is safe enough to say that jelqs performed daily is safe enough, because it involves the reproduction functions of the male too.

Finally, it is very unlikely that all those people, who answered countless questions and a few even proofed their gains by a picture, are wrong, don’t you think?

You need to figure out what is best for you. But if you are doing heavy routines, such as 45 mins of jelquing a day you should take days off to avoid overtraining. But if you are doing a lighter routine, like me(som 15 mins of jelquing after streching) you can do it everyday.

Hope this helpes.

No, your not. I know plenty of guys who have proven the opposite.

Well I do dry jelqing with a latex c*ck ring. Seems to get the job done well. I only ask because from what I learnt from resistance training doesn’t make sense with the recovery rates involved in PE.

Applying what science has found from resistance training, you would be best to do about 6-8 sets with 6-15 reps of kegels a week at most. The mentality you take into the gym is go all out or go home so I mean seeing as your trying to build strength in your PC muscle, it would make sense to follow this line of thought. The way the training for the PC muscle is told looks to be for training it for endurance.. Wouldn’t strength be the goal?

Ill keep at it tho, thanks for the reply guys.

Keeping your penis under more or less stress 365 days in a year doesn’t sound very healthy. Doing PE without any off days is quite risky.

Keep soft tissue soft.

I really wonder if someone with a normal life is able to do PE 365 days a year. I do PE daily but have a day or so each month when I simply can’t do PE because something prevents me to do it.

But I am interested what risks are involved in your opinion and what the consequences of those risks will be?

Keeping your penis under stress during the most of the year is a risk itself. Penis is then never really healed or in its normal non-stress state. It may not lead to anything significantly negative thing, but it exposes your penis to various short/long term negative effects. For example getting scar tissue in your penis can be one negative effect, erection problems, because of the scar-tissue or otherwise. Some other negative effects are for example discoloration.
Biggest of all there may be many long term effects those we just don’t know yet. Keeping your penis heavily stressed such long times with no actual recovery may for example lead to cancer or similar diseases where
your tissues start behaving abnormally. Such stress doesn’t at least make tissues to become any healthier.

By the way it seems, that many PE veterans uses Viagra or similar products, so at least erection problems seems to be one negative effect from hard routines that can be already seen (and discoloration).
Please correct if I am wrong.

An idea that is popular at the moment is to only do 2 routines a week and rest on the other 5 days.

Quite a few guys are reporting some success.
