Well I finally started properly! I read these forums a long, long time ago, and am somewhat peeved with my slowness, but never mind! I have been doing this regularly for 2 months now and have made my first 1/8 girth increase + am having very hard erections and my dick feels tougher and heavier.

1. I started off with an intense form of jelq, I read of here a long time ago. I do not remember the name, any help please? It involves trapping the blood by squeezing hard at the base with one hand and pushing forward as normal with the other. (I love) I believe this was not recommended for beginners though, I was cocky and started of with this, 10 mins every other day, I now do 30 mins a day, all at once. Other newbies probably shouldn’t emulate me in my cockiness.

2. How often should I take a break?! At the moment I am having every seventh day off.. But I feel like I can jelq through his barrier!

3. I am having problems (every other time) that I must masturbate before jelqing and even as I rush and after a few mins of hot wrap, 5 mins into the routine.. I have a boner again. What can I do? I do not believe I am quite conditioned enough (yet) to do erect jelqs so I have to lower the squeeze until the erection dies down.The bizarrely awesome thing is I could swear my refractory period used to be 15 mins.. 2. You need at least the day off; more really if you are doing Horses etc. The new tissue growth you are stimulating with the exercise will just keep getting torn down if you don’t rest.

3. If you have to masturbate to keep your erection level down, don’t worry about it.

Seeing as I’m not planning any other manual exercises for a few months except this 30 mins jelq squeeze, I think I can get away with 4 days on 1 day off?

Take at least a couple of days off once in a while, just to get some proper recovery and avoid potential injuries.

If you find you are not gaining as you should on your new routine, before you try increasing your exercises, try a few weeks of building more rest into your routine. You may find you are over training. If that doesn’t work then sure, try increasing it.
