It's "glans" not "glands"

I know I’m yelling into the void here, because the people who most need to see this aren’t likely to, but I can’t stay silent anymore!

The head of your penis is not a gland! It’s your glans—the glans penis, specifically—which according to Wikipedia means “acorn of the penis” in Latin. A gland is an internal organ that produces some kind of hormone or other secretion. Your testicles are glands. Your thyroid is a gland. The head of your penis is a glans!

Why the Smithsonian? Because you could walk around it for a week and not see the whole thing.

They let auto correct speak for them. Especially if they’re foriegn.

Start (20/11/2017) - BPEL: 17cm (6.7") EG: 14cm (5.5") FL: 10cm (3.9") FG: 10cm (3.9")

In latin, glans and glandis = acorn. Corona glandis, the corona of the glans. In more latinized languages, it isn’t natural to finish with the s.

English - glans - gland
French - gland - glande
Spanish - glande - glándula
Italian - glande - ghiandola
