Well for me I never kept SUPER detailed flaccid measurements - again another mistake. Now that I have a year off, I’m making certain to record flaccid lengths and girths in various stages of flaccid hang. My flaccid varies a LOT. The absolute smallest it gets is about 2.75” in length…babyish! This is usually during intensive workouts, and it’s normal for the penis to shrink as blood flows to other muscles that need it more. The odd thing is, about 1.5 - 2 hours after those intensive workouts (lots of cardio, but also weight lifting, lots of leg involvement - I do p90X), and after I’ve had a good post-workout meal in me, I’ll have the best flaccid hangs of my life…probably about 4.75” hang and a nice, low ball hang. Honestly something I wouldn’t mind walking around in public naked with. It’s a shame those hangs only come with workouts (lasts throughout the whole night usually). I believe it has something to do with your capillaries (the body’s smallest blood vessels) being temporarily dialated, but also something to do with the body’s release of HGH and Testosterone during these type of workouts (for example HGH secretion increases something like 400% percent after a good session of interval sprints).
To get more to your question, the reason I knew I was getting flaccid gains was that after about a month in, my flaccid was hanging like those post workout flaccids, but during the day, without working out! Even in the mornings - and I’ve always been a guy who is hung like a little kid (balls sucked up, flaccid around 3.25” or so) in the mornings. Mine is pitiful in the first half of the day then slowly as night approaches my balls start to hang loser and my flaccid gets a little longer (3.75”, maybe 4”. Even longer right before I go to bed). But through jelqing (I had stopped manual stretches at this point due to lig pain, 30 second holds a la Newbie Routine is too much to start with for my sensitive unit), I was having these amazing (for me) 4.75”+ flaccid hangs all day, even during the mornings! I mean I would pull my cock out to piss at work and I would just be stunned - by the heaviness of it, the look and feel of it, and the fact that I could easily walk over to the urinal to piss and not be embarrassed. It felt empowering to say the least.
Now that I’ve stopped jelqing, these have gone away, but the travesty is that I got injured just about the time I started seeing these significant flaccid improvements. Had I been able to continue, I’m extremely optimistic that these gains would have cemented and remained. It really does suck for me that I’m having to ditch the jelq out of my routine, because I feel that jelqs are extremely effective (when done properly and carefully, not squeezing too hard and not trying to always beat the number of reps you reached in your previous session). Doesn’t mean much, but around that time I also measured my NBPEL and it measured 1/8 inch (one little black line) above 5.75, and for my whole life since I was 17 (I’m in my mid 20’s now) it has never measured above this. So EQ or not, my dick was bigger that day!
Of course it’s back to the ol’ 5.75 now, but that’s because I couldn’t stick with PE. Sticking with it, as the vets have posted, is the only way to cement gains. I only hope that maybe sometime late next year I can re-incorperate the jelq with much less reps into my routine. My current plan is to start very, very light pumping mixed in with manual stretches in September, and I’m hoping this will be enough for at least some improvement in the meantime.
So yeah, flaccid gains should come, especially with the jelq…just remember what I said and don’t always try to up the number of reps every session, bc that will get you hurt! You might feel like you can push through and do more, as if you’re ‘stronger’ than last session, but go against this urge, or you could be in my position! If you’re at a number of reps that is getting you real girth gains, which you are, then stick with that routine until it stops working for certain!
