It seems I started with a "goose neck"

It seems I started with a "goose neck"

Hello All,

I am a newbie and only did 4 sessions till now.
When jelqing I have problems because it appears I have something like a goose neck already.

When I apply the Ok-grip at the base I notice that it’s almost impossible to make the grip close to
My pubic bone because I also grip a lot of “hanging skin” at the undersite of my penis.

What I do now to avoid trapping the hanging skin is basically: just before applying the OK-grip I sort of push the skin back before applying pressure, this helps a bit but I still strap some skin and it also gives me the impression that by doing this I first push blood back in the wrong direction.
I also noticed that, when making jelques, my glans doesn’t get swollen.
Could it be that the trapped skin acts like a form of “leak” making it impossible to press blood in the direction
Of my glans, or is this because I don’t apply enough pressure yet? (As newbie we have to take it slow at the beginning)

Could somebody with experience help me out with some tips?
I was thinking about putting a small rubber hairband around my scrotum and try to stretch the hanging skin towards my scrotum, this way the skin is already is out of the way when applying the OK-grip. Only problem with this rubber band is I am afraid this could cause some blood circulation problems.
Please advice if this is true.

Thanks in advance
Alex

Handige, do you mean ‘turkey neck’ rather than ‘goose neck’?

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

This is normally called a turkey neck.

I have one too and don’t really like it either but I can deal with it. At first it was annoying and felt like I must have been doing something wrong but you get used to it. I will admit that my jelqs might not be perfect but they are good enough.

About the rubber band hair band. If you are completely shaved that might not be a problem, you may want two of them depending on how well they work. However, I would advise being very cautious because it would be a lot like using a cock ring and that can trap plenty of blood in your unit and you don’t want to much while jelqing, especially while you’re beginning.

Try alternating hands every 5 to 10 jelqs. Pull back the scrotum with one hand and jelq with the other for several repetitions, then switch. This works well and gets both hands in the routine so you don’t develop a curve or something. You should still do one hand each side repetitions too and start your OK up high to avoid developing a baseball bat shape.

Onenekkidguy would starting your ok grip up high to jelq only develop the glans?

And yea, it’s called a gooseneck in the thunder’s place wiki I think it might be a mistake.

When I said start your OK up high, I was referring to the base of the penis (high when your penis is pointing down). Grab into your fat pad to start your jelq - I found this helps develop the base and lower shaft.

When alternating hands 5-10 at a time and pulling the scrotum back, you tend to work the top half of the shaft and miss a bit of the base.

Well, you definitely have to figure out what works for you since everyone is a little different in grip, shape, etc.

I just took a look at the wiki, and I didn’t see that. If you could be more specific about where you saw that, I’d appreciate it.

The vocabulary on such things should be consistent to avoid confusion, so that should be corrected in the wiki if that is the case.

I have only known it to be called “Turkey Neck”.

According to the “How to jelq” page:

“Jelqing often places most stress on the skin at the base of the shaft, so as growth occurs this is where skin stretch is often located. If the skin stretches from the base, the bottom of the shaft presents no resistance and the scrotum stretches along the shaft (turkey neck). Avoidance of turkey neck can be hard. Performing a separate skin stretching routine may help.”

Jelqing
"To avoid the ‘goose-neck’ forming after some time, you can try to at least limit the impact wet jelqing has on this by doing the following:"

Turkey Neck

Sorry, I meant Turkey Neck when I described my problem.
Thanks for the help so far.

Alex

Handige and gerg, thanks guys!

I just changed it to "Turkey-Neck" Jelqing

Running a Massive Co-Front.

Thanks is hardly enough.

I just asked Thunder about it and he says that you can each have a bonus of 2mm in length!

How to correct turkey neck:

Some skin stretching exercises…

How to avoid getting turkey neck when jelqing:

Before each stroke, put your OK grip in front of the turkey neck and push down towards the base of your dick. Now, jelq forward. This will prevent you from grabbing your scrotum.
