Issues with kegeling.

Issues with kegeling.

Hi,

My first post here! A little nerve racking.

I started on the newbie routine about a month or so ago. My starting stats are FL: 3”, FG: 3.8”, NBPEL: 6.75”, BPEL: 7”, EG: 5.25”. My short term goal is to improve flaccid hang and overall girth. Maybe up to 7.5 EL as well.

Now to my issue; I have been doing a 5 minute warmup, stretch up, down, left, right for 45 seconds 2 sets. Whilst I do this I do kegels which I hold for about 5 seconds. I then move onto jelqing for anywhere between 8-15 minutes depending on time restraints, then a 5 minute warm down. I also do around 50-100 kegels throughout the working day.

Since I have started doing the kegels I seem to have developed a severe case of premature ejaculation! After about 30 seconds of having sex I get involuntary convulsing of my muscles which I kegel. It almost feels like kegeling, but like I said it is totally involuntary. Even though that doesn’t stop me pleasing my wife in other ways, it is starting to get me worried. I am almost certain there is a direct link to the kegel exercises, so I have stopped them altogether about a week and a half ago. Thing is I am still suffering involuntary kegel convulsions.

Is there anyway to reverse this? It is getting to the point that I avoid bringing up sex.

In the meantime I am continuing with my other exercises, but any help on this matter will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

kegels would not cause PE to the contrary improve blood circulation to he penis and increase your enjoyment by delaying ejaculation. kegels are medically tested and proven exercises in many clinics around he world mainlyused for incontinence purposes. What i would suggest is reverse kegel exercises by relaxing your pelvic floor muscles that relaxation must be done mentally as well as physically.

You mention 5 seconds duration which is very little time to hold the pelvic floor up and then let go. many peeps mistakenly assume that kegelling is performing penis erection exercises which are NOT kegels are pelvic floor exercises that benefit the penis.

You’re not alone in this. It’s been mentioned a lot before, and I’m personally experiencing it as well. Some people seem to get better simply by not doing kegels for a while. Others not so much (myself included). What appears to at least work slightly for me, is doing just a few long kegels each day (I’ll hold the contraction for as long as I can). The involuntary spasms come and go for me, but they definitely get worse if I do lots of short kegels.

Thanks for your response.

The kegels I was carrying out were basically squeezing the muscle between my ass and balls, and only that muscle. Is this not correct? This is exactly where I get my involuntary twitches too.

Should I continue to kegel but hold for longer? Or should I just stick with reverse kegels for the time being?

Having done a little research on reverse kegels this afternoon, seems like there are others out there with the same issue after performing kegel exercises and they all recommend doing reverse kegels to gain balance across the pelvic floor. However there are conflicting views on whether one should continue with normal kegel exercises.

Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience to myself with this?

Unfortunately, I can’t help much as I haven’t been able to overcome the problem myself yet. Long kegels help me, I can’t say if they’ll do anything for you.

I’m afraid you’ll probably have to experiment a little.

You exercises should continue only if you experiencing incontinence or premature ejaculation. yes you start basically with 5 seconds building up to a longer periods after 6 months contrary to other people beliefs it takes long time to master kegels it is not a overnight thing and do not do more than 50 to 100 daily. The exercise should be effortless just like going to the toilet and cutting off the stream half way through.
