I hear you, 9inRichard - I remember being 18 too. — an interesting quote that hopefully will apply:

Research indicates it’s more common for younger or sexually inexperienced men to have size worries and, with time, these worries reduce.

WannaBe8Incher — I highly recommend you read that entire article. It is excellent.

Great Article.

I learned a lot from it. Interesting stuff about why sex therapists think size studies are inflated, for example.

Plus, that Dr. Petra Boynton is kind of hot, too - check out her bio picture… :blue:

Well, you are above average. I guess it’s achievable.

What puts me off in the article is laziness:

Quote
Studies of penis size show the ‘average’ erect penis ranges from 5 to 7 inches (13 to 16 cms) with a girth of about 4 inches (10 cms).

1 inch = 2.54 cm

5 * 2.54 = 12.7 - rounded ok
7 * 2.54 = 17.18 - obviously different from 16 cm = 6.3 inch

Maybe she is as math challenged as me!

Or maybe it is something like this:

I have never heard the “7” number as the upper end of average before.

For example, Lifestyles = the average penis length is 5.877 inches, with the majority ranging between 5.5 inches and 6.3 inches

So maybe she accidently wrote “7” (or her secretary, or editor did etc) and meant “6.3”

But then accurately wrote “16cm.”

I liked the article, among other things, for

— extremely clear explanation of show-er vs growers
— clear explanation of “self-selection” for size studies
— the roots of size anxiety (e.g, not understanding the concept of show-er vs growers when young)
— the bad effects of needless size anxiety
