Is Kinsey study BP or NBP?

Is Kinsey study BP or NBP?

Sorry if I come off as a retard here, but when the Kinsey study says that the agerage dick length is something like 5.75” or 6”, is that BP or NBP? I’m posting this message here because I assume everyone except newbies knows the answer. LOL!

8/1/02: 5.75" BPEL X 4.5" EG

6/1/03: 7.5" BPEL X 5.75" EG as measured midshaft with a snapped chalk line....

Assumptions are dangerous things….

I think this question has been asked at least three times in the six months I’ve been a member at Thunder’s Place. A search (yes, using that button up there) containing “Kinsey” and either “NBP” or “bone” will bring up four or five previous threads.

The study was done in the 1940s and the subjects measured themselves and marked their length on a card. I don’t think they knew about bone pressed in those days. Most penile length studies should be considered NBP unless stated otherwise.

My own personal answer is: Who cares?

Does it really matter? that 1/2 an inch difference between BP and NBP is fairly insignificant, as far as PE’ers should be concerned.

I’m sure a good number of the volunteers bone pressed when they marked their card. Which is probably why Kinsey’s numbers are higher than other studies that were not bone pressed.
