I have read the “warning to newbies” and I don’t want to do jelqing because of it’s risk. I want to ask you if it is possible with only stretching. I am pleased with my length-girth ratio and I don’t want it to be changed. I want both girth and length, not one more than other. As I read in topics jelqing is for girth and stretching is for length. Isn’t it possible to gain girth with only stretching as to keep my ratio? Are there guys only do stretching? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks a lot.

I have been doing mostly stretching since I began in december of `09 and I`ve gained an inch in length.

I`m not sure about girth because I didn`t measure girth at all when I began so I can`t say whether I gained there at all.

I am 6 7/8” in length bone pressed, and 5 1/2” girth at the base.

I did clamp for a few weeks and saw the tape reach 6” while clamped, but became concerned that I would interfere with length gains if I persisted, so I stopped.

I have never been able to jelq properly because I can never get any sort of erection while doing it, so I only stretch.

A good warm-up & proper technique will greatly reduce your injury risk. Study how to jelq & do it gently at first until you master the technique & until your tissues are more conditioned.

Jelqs & stretches are synergistic. Just don’t jelq your glans & you’ll be fine… assuming you start with low levels of force & don’t over-do it. Just be aware of your dorsal nerve along the top of your shaft. Be especially careful with the nerve bundle behind the coronal ridge of the glans.

That’s a gross oversimplification that ignores that the exercises are complementary. Jelqs give both length & girth, but they wont give as much girth near the base. Stretches can help a little bit with base girth in addition to length. Most length exercises can give girth, but it tends to be towards the base. I can’t say the game for girth exercises; many of them give no length at all.

For some of us we have to do alot of stretches to get length.

I know if I do more than 5o jelqs I get real wide and short wth no

length gains. I am trying to figure out how to get length only

with out forgetting that there is some benefit to jelqing for conditioning

and strength. but as for now I hardly do any jelqs. It is important in the first three months to jelq.

Yes it’s true there a few unlucky people who really got injured from jelqing but they probaly just had a dick that couldn’t handle much jelqing…

Jelqing really is a good PE excercise for girth and length if done right. If you’re that afraid you might injure yourself from doing jelqing I suggest you just try wet jelqing (don’t start off with dry jelqing , it creates more pressure) with 2-3 second strokes for about a mintute or two after a warm up. After that stop and watch what we call your PI’s over the next day or two.

If you notice a fuller longer thicker flaccid and if your EQ goes up over the next day or even get morning wood then you can safe fully know that you didn’t injure anything and you can then if you want if your cautious up the wet jelqing by another minute or two. Then rest again and see how your dick reacts again. Overtime when you feel confident enough you can Jelq for 10 minutes to start off with and build up from there…

Just remember if you wet Jelq don’t use the OK grip it places to much pressure on the CS and the top of the penis. You want to use something like the pinch grip which focuses all the pressure on the sides of the shaft with not too much pressure.

I wouldn’t ever recommend just jelqing or just stretching, because there’s a combined benefit to both. It’s true jelqing helps more with girth but it also moves fresh oxygen rich blood throughout your penis and helps flush away some of the lactic acid, blood clots, and waste caused by the PE damage. Stretching on the other hand helps extend the cells in your CC that contract with damage and the lengthen ligaments, which is why it’s a good idea to stretch after your jelq. Although I would recommend stretching with an engorged head to work on head size a little.

If you want my recommendation, do a few warm up sets of jelqs before you perform a few sets of working jelqs. And do the same for stretches. To make both of these exercises harder and strengthen your kegel muscles, contract you your kegel muscles as hard as you can with each exercise and then relax in between working sets. Really squeeze those kegel muscles hard and you’ll feel a difference and have stronger erections in just a few days.

If you’re really interested in length, then work on nothing but length with some light to moderate pressure jelqs. Just 2-3 sets is all you need. The way I did my stretching back in the day when I gained me best length was I did the five way directional (straight, up, down, left, right) all for five sets of 10 seconds as hard as I could take it, and then added 5 seconds to each set every workout. I think I did it 2 times a week…. but I can’t remember if it was more or less. Eventually I was hitting each direction for five full minutes total through all five sets (25 minutes for everything) with both hands assisting my grip, and gained gained .25” in a month for newbie gains. I’d kill to get newbie gains again! LOL.

When you’re satisfied with your length, tilt the pendulum the other way and work on mostly girth with some head work or light stretching for at least another year. You have to do it this way to see big increases in length OR girth because these gains are so slow and when you try to gain both at the same time after newbie gains it’s even slower. It’s like trying to lose a lot of weight and gain a lot of muscle at the same time.

I been doing jelq mostly but every so often I will add stretches. Tomorrow will make it a month. I seen good newbie gains, I’m going form 30jelqs to 40jelqs. I might start doing both on a consistant bases.
