Is it possible to jelq without injury??

Hello.

Since the penis is covered with blood vessels, just under the skin, it seems to me that jelqing would be prone to bruising blood vessels or cause blood vessels to break.

From my experience, jelqing always ends up hurting me, either during or after jelqing.

If during jelqing, I start to feel an ache on the left side of shaft near the base where a blood vessel that runs along left side is located. I also feel a burning sensation on the skin if I wet jelq.

After jelqing, I will still feel the ache on the left side and sometimes pains in head of penis.

If I stop jelqing, the aches and pains all go away after a few days.

If I restart, eventually the aches and pains come back.

So, not sure what I am wrong.

Any help is appreciated.

Yes it is possible to jelq without injury. Much in a similar way to how you can masturbate without injury or have sex without injury. Stroking yourself is safe, provided you don’t use too much force.

I get a bit sore as well from the newbie routine but I don’t see that as an injury. That is what happens when you work out. Right now my shoulders and arms are killing me and its not because I hurt them but rather because it was arm day yesterday.

Masturbation and jelqing are different though. If they were the same, every man that masturbates would grow a big penis. Jelqing puts a lot of stress on the blood vessels surrounding the shaft because you have to squeeze the shaft. Not sure if gliding lightly over the shaft like in masturbation will do anything.

I have jelqed for many months out of this year. I have not been injured. Therefore it must be possible.

Look. Many an idiot will harm himself trying PE. Some sadly irreversibly. But if you are careful and slowly work your way into this practice. You should be able to stay FAR away for anything that will injured you. Read up on guys who have had success. It really works, slowly but it works.

Indeed, but jelqing is more akin to masturbation in the pressure needed than any squeeze or grip that would cause injury. Consistent injury jelqing, if you can masturbate safely, points to very much too tight a grip force being used for the jelq.

You may be lucky, being able to cause aching so easily could mean you’ll gain more quickly than most.

Speed is also an important piece here. I grip pretty hard for my jelqs (not that you should), but I also do 10-30 second reps.


[start] 10.15 cubic inches

[goal] 20.3 cubic inches

I’ll tell you what helped me after a slight injury.

Feel the flat side of your head while jelqing. As you jelq, use just enough pressure so that there is no ‘slack’ in the skin at all. Stop short of ‘ballooning’ the head. Go no further than this.

Also, try breaking up the jelqing with heat. I do 200 jelqs now, and I stop every 50 to apply a heat pad for 5 minutes or so. Gives time for erection to come down and gives a break.

This is interesting. I had an injury awhile back that involved too much ballooning of the head. I’ll have to keep this in mind.

It seems some guys have no issue with high pressure in the glans but others do. Obviously conditioning plays a role bit personal build must too.

Ive never had any injuries and that I dont warm up.

How To Avoid Injury

My system to avoid injury is:

-To apply hot warm before and after stretching or jelqing.

-To lubricate penis and environs with special potion before jelqing and after exercises ( after finish warming up).
This special potion is linseed oil cooked with comfrey and (optional) ironwort. It is very popular in Poland.

-To take a bath in very warm water with magnesium sulphate in the evening.

I tried jelqing again. Did 50 reps with a real light grip at about 30% erection. After the 50 reps, felt the ache start up again on left side of shaft. Seems like no way to jelq without bruising the blood vessels.

Just start slow. Be super mindful. Eventually you will teach to rself all the little tricks and techniques. Remember to keep your own excitement in check too. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Going super hard day one is a recipe for injury. The intensity that I use for jelqing nowadays would have definitely injured me when I first began. But now every ounce of intensity I give goes directly into creating good expansion, and not into damaging things

Well, not sure what else can be changed if I do 50 real light jelqs and left side starts to ache.

Something I am missing here?
