Is it normal that the glans is sensitive to touch but not that much to temperature

Is it normal that the glans is sensitive to touch but not that much to temperature changes?. I tell this because my glans is sensitive when I touch it but it doesnt distinguish temperature changes very well. Is this normal?. I read here that this was normal because the glans is designed to register friction not temperature.
