Is it low T? Decreased Erection Quality(ED) and Sex Drive

I was wondering if I could get some input and advice. For the last 2 months I have not been able to achieve full erections or maintain a decent erection. Also my sex drive seems to be low because I have wanted to have sex with my new partner but I am not really getting horny or turned on mentally by anything sexual and this girl is a sex addict and will surely move on if I can’t get it together soon. Mentally I think that I am fine even though I just left my only partner of the last 3 years, don’t think that has anything to do with it and I haven’t watched porn in over a month. Only thing I can think of is low levels of testosterone. Can anybody help with this? Thanks :)

You can always get your blood checked out and check if your levels of T are too low, simple test and it doesn’t take long, but please do remember that mostly the thing between your ears is the main problem, e.g. Are you sure you’re completely over your previous relationship, are you trying too hard with your new partner, etc. ?

From my own experience I can tell that the mind is a strange thing and it is surely connected with what you feel or do so probably you’ll have to take a look in your head for what’s going on.

I honestly think it might have to do with you not watching porn, were you a bit of a porn addict before you stopped watching porn for a month?

And be honest no judgement here.

When you stop watching porn altogether and your mind takes a break from all that high-speed fictitious arousal stimulation, it takes a little while for your mind to “reboot” and get back to normal levels.

It’s very common for someone to go through a phase that you’re talking about where they feel like they might have low testosterone levels because they’re not getting horny as easy anymore.

Give it another month or two and you should be back to normal.

That’s my opinion, I would also stay away from porn anyway since you’re already a month in you might as well go for another couple months and see how you feel.

It’s possible. Do you exercise? What is your diet like? What is your sleep like? Do you drink? Do you smoke? So many questions..

I’m no doctor, but here are my suggestions:
-Cardio in the morning, before breakfast. Yes, you will need to wake up an hour or more earlier to run for about an hour.
-Look at your diet and limit carbs. High fat and high protein will keep you satiated and should help you lose unwanted weight.
-Stop smoking.
-Get a good night sleep. This is really important. Wake up after a full REM cycle.
-Supplement with ZMA before sleep. I’ve heard that it helps increase your testosterone levels. I don’t know how true that is, but I’ve noticed that I sleep deeper with it.
-Lift weights. This is immensely important. If you don’t know what to do, get a trainer or read something on bodybuilding.com. I personally use a 5-day split (1=chest, 2=legs, 3=shoulders, 4=back, and 5=arms).
-Vitamin D.

If all of that isn’t working for you:
-D-Aspartic Acid
-Tongkat Ali (AKA Longjack). Make sure to get the 200:1 (or 1:200; same thing) type.
-Grape seed extract.
-Citrulline/Arginine.
-Tribulus Terresteris.

.And listen to everyone else on here. I’m sure you’re going to be getting some good info from some of the more experienced people on here.

If you were into porn, this is exactly what it is. Good post ARed, I am impressed. Few know about this besides a few people on here, Sta-kool turned me onto it, I still battle with it from time to time, but need to just keep a post it note on my screen saying “no porn!”

Going back to weight training, if you can spare time, DO go to the gym. Do take your workouts seriously. Earphones in is ok if it helps you concentrate. Whatever sort of music gets you going, motivated and energetic will do. Squat, bench, deadlift, overhead press and bicep curls if you must do them. Work your abs too. I don’t have a six pack but I have plenty of muscle, and it gives me a boost when my wife tells me they wish their husbands were muscular like me. Probably you need a boost like this. Being fir and strong gives you self confidence in the same way I imagine (being a newbie) that having a bigger penis does.

I’m sure I am over that relationship, it was over long before it was finally broke off. I am 27 years old. I maybe trying to hard but when I do get excited down there the erection is still a weak one, not one strong enough for sex.

I was addicted to porn but not to that degree a couple of months ago meaning not an everyday thing but it was my main source of getting off. I’ve gotten rid of 99% of my porn( which is in the TB’s) and haven’t been masturbating wither. As for heading down south I’ve been very successful doing that with her but she NEEDS DICK! Fingering and vibrator wont cut it. But I will listen to your advice. I just started exercising again a couple of days a week but I wasn’t terribly out of shape in the first place. I have changed my diet significantly though by cutting out fast food and fasting a little bit. I rarely drink these days and I don’t smoke at all.
