I’d be a little worried about using those. If you experienced the beginning of an injury, it would take too long to remove them using that screw than the cable clamp, which uses a simple clip.

With a piece of metal like that, I would definitely use something like gauze to soften the instrument, so that it doesn’t pinch the skin too badly. Remember, you only get one dick, so you should try not to break any part of it.

That is a hose clamp and some people do use those.

Yeah I use those, “ON MY RADIATOR!” Holy crap. I guess it could be OK with a cloth underneath, I am looking into a good way to clamp without anyone knowing, this does take up less room than a cable clamp.
