Is it better to stretch sitting or standing

Is it better to stretch sitting or standing

Or somewhere in between?

I just started concentrating on stretching again. I have a routine that consists of about 25 minutes of stretching, but takes about 45 minutes to an hour to complete. I made the routine from what I remember doing a couple of years ago and added some elements that I learned from Thunder’s.

Now after my second day of the routine, I’m noticing that I get a different stretch depending on my position.

What really got me thinking about this is Esc’s thread about measuring standing or sitting. If you have different measurements in different positions, and whether or not you thrust your pelvis forward, doesn’t that mean you’re exposing different amounts of your inner penis, or changing how your ligs are presented?

For me I get an awesome workout when I’m standing, knees slightly bent, and my pelvis thrust forward. I was thinking of how to describe it and the image of a cross between Urkel and a caveman came to mind. Damn, it took me a while to stop giggling on that one so I could finish my routine.

I’ve been searching around, but I’ve gotten a lot of threads on stretching and haven’t seen anything specifically on the benefits/negatives of the position of the pelvis.

Anyone have an opinion on this? Maybe some hangers? Or am I not searching correctly?

About 14 months total PE time. I'm very inconsistent.

I would assume whatever position you like is gonna work best for you.. I mean, if it grows an inch, it grows an inch.. Maybe it will show up better in certain positions, but it still grew an inch. I know exactly what stance you’re talking about, I do it too. For me it seems to kegel in some extra blood, also helps me control erection strength, either harder or softer. I think of it as almost but not quite a horse stance. Then sometimes during the routine I’ll stand straight up just in a relaxed posture and exercise in a neutral stance, then maybe sit a while. I go back and forth. Do it how you like to do it.

I have always found my stretching workouts to be much more intense (in a good way) and beneficial when I am standing. I don’t sit unless I have to.

I agree it makes sense that standing with the pelvis thrust forward (not so much that it is uncomfortable) is a great stretching position. It also better allows gravity to play it’s role. I don’t know about the rest of you but I try to stretch whenever I can. I have a dedicated stretching time but if I can get in some ninja stretching while I am in the car, I’ll do it.

I think standing is better personally - I feel more lig stretch that way. But whatever works for you should be fine.

If you haven’t tried it, look up the BTC (Between The Cheeks) stretch. This one in particular is an awesome stretch!

I love fowfers too, but I think they target flaccid hang only (and work well at that!).
