Is bigger always better

Another interesting study on vaginal orgasm and penis size. Personally, I think intercourse duration is probably a more important consideration for vaginal orgasm but I haven’t fucked that many women. I’m also surprised by benefits of a "longer penis". I would have thought thicker was more important?

ABSTRACT

Introduction. Evidence was recently provided for vaginal orgasm, orgasm triggered purely by penile-vaginal intercourse (PVI), being associated with better psychological functioning. Common sex education and sexual medicine approaches might undermine vaginal orgasm benefits.

Aims. To examine the extent to which women’s vaginal orgasm consistency is associated with (i) being told in childhood or adolescence that the vagina was the important zone for inducing female orgasm; (ii) how well they focus mentally on vaginal sensations during PVI; (iii) greater PVI duration; and (iv) preference for above-average penis length.

Methods. In a representative sample of the Czech population, 1,000 women reported their vaginal orgasm consistency (from never to almost every time; only 21.9% never had a vaginal orgasm), estimates of their typical foreplay and PVI durations, what they were told in childhood and adolescence was the important zone for inducing female orgasm, their degree of focus on vaginal sensations during PVI, and whether they were more likely to orgasm with a longer than average penis.

Main Outcome Measures. The association of vaginal orgasm consistency with the predictors noted above. Results. Vaginal orgasm consistency was associated with all hypothesized correlates. Multivariate analysis indicated the most important predictors were being educated that the vagina is important for female orgasm, being mentally focused on vaginal sensations during PVI, and in some analyses duration of PVI (but not foreplay) and preferring a longer than average penis.

Conclusions. Focusing attention on penile-vaginal sensation supports vaginal orgasm and the myriad benefits thereof. Brody S, and Weiss P. Bohm, maybe they simply labeled the preference for a larger penis as “preference for a longer penis”?

I was kinda hoping, but, no. It’s a peer-review publication. They don’t make mistakes like that or they shouldn’t. It’s possible though that the women subjects in the study may have been confused but I doubt it? The abstract was also reported here:

“Vaginal orgasm consistency was associated with longer duration of penile- vaginal intercourse (but not of foreplay) and also with a preference for a longer than
average penis size (Brody & Weiss, abstract PO-11-014). A study with Siberian women by Kulchavenya (abstract PO-11-024) showed that the size of the penis is more important for women above 40 than for women below 40.”

Personally, in my limited experience regarding vaginal orgasm: the most important factor was how long she’s gone without one is usually the most important factor. The longer time interval, the more likely and the more intense the orgasm, but I’m not much of an expert.

Hmmm. Perhaps then CDS stimulation is involved here? I still think that the researchers could have mistakenly neglected to consider girth in those studies.

Watch this MRI video of the guy pounding some girl (the article is in Thunder’s science links). It looks like a normal size penis will hit the cul de sac? When I was in Med School, they used to pay nurses to act as subjects and we would have to probe inside their vaginas with a speculum and it looked easy to reach their cul de sac (at least when not fully aroused) with 5".

Yeah I guess the video is in line with the view that a vagina is potential space, both length wise and girth wise. I guess however, that to be really bottom out, one must reach the bottom when the vagina has been stretched out to it’s longest possible form. Only then can real force be applied into the CDS.

The guy in this study was 16 cm erect. The authors write:

“In the reverse missionary position, the preferential areas stimulated by the penis seems to be the anterior wall of the vagina and the anterior cul-de-sac.”

So it seems position is probably as important, if not a more important factor than penis size even with respect to cul de sac stimulation (assuming that is even responsible for vaginal orgasm)?
