IR Heater Recommendations?

Any IR heater recommendations?

Home Depot. Basic clamp lamp + IR bulb ($150W). $20 outlay

Worth also getting IR glasses on amazon (not UV glasses)

In my opinion as long as it gives off heat your all set. You don’t need anything crazy that’s gonna cost a lot of money.

By chance do you have an example?

I use the Beurer IL 50. I got it on amazon. I really like it. Its well built by Germans and has a timer. My warmup consists of 5 minutes in front of the lamp then 5 minutes of heat pad. Its also great for aching muscles and looks like it belongs in the bathroom/spa. I chose this because of the timer, the german attention to detail and prevalent use of IR over there. Its also reasonable to explain to anyone who sees it and I don’t have to hide an add looking rig when company comes over…Been using it every day, thinking of ordering a backup in case I drop this one by accident.

I tilt it down and lay it on its ‘chin’ on the bathroom counter. Its gives a pretty good angle for warmup and stretching.

An IR heating system is my next PE purchase. I have been eyeing this unit up for some time. What is the furthest distance you can be from it and still get enough heat?
