Hello everyone,

I am new here and excited to learn from those of you who have experience with PE. I am 40 years old, is that too late to be starting? I am currently using a Zen Hanger system. I hang 1 to 4 times per day 10-20 minutes per session. 2.5-5 lbs per session depending on how I feel.

I always hang sitting in a chair. I’m looking for advice on how to safely maximize my results along with any other advice that you men with experience can provide. Thank you!

Welcome to the club. 40 is definitely not too late to be starting a sensible PE routine. There’s a lot of info in the hangers forum, but I’d strongly recommend doing the Newbie Routine or maybe the Linear Newbie Routine to start. Get all the gains you can from that,then move on with more advanced methods if you want to. Good luck.

Welcome. As stated already, start with the Newbie Routine. Getting those first gains from that is key to a successful PE future.

Welcome Sober_woder,

Persons much older than 40 have started PE and had success. So you have nothing to worry about.

I would also advise you to start the newbie routing. Use heat. Don’t rush, put in the time and you should see results.

If you don’t mind me asking what are your current stats?

On my first day of hanging I was 7.5 BPEL. 16 days later I am 7.875 BPEL. I made a post about this wondering if it was typical to gain early and then it slows way down.

Heat and hanging have made a huge difference in my gains. Everything I’ve read seem to suggest that PE is limited, you can’t just grow forever. I’m just hoping to maximize whatever potential I have. I’m glad to have found this place with so much experience and resources.

I was going to say stop hanging for a while and do the newbie first, but if you allready are gaining go for it.

Just don’t overdo it.


BPEL 7 EG 5.5 NBPEL 6.5 Flaccid length 4.5. Started Jan 2015 at bpel 6.5 nbpel 6.0 and eg 5.2 flaccid length was 3.5

I have reached my goal. At least for now.
