so I’m just about one month into PE and have seen some GREAT length gains. Did not expect to gain as much as I have this fast. EQ has gone through the roof and all that good stuff, but I measured today and I’ve lost .15 inches in girth since I’ve started.

Has anyone encountered this? Any ideas for why this has happened?

Don’t worry about it just yet. In the first couple of months you’ll see your most gains and minor gains will come and go. Measure every one to two weeks so the gains are more obvious and encouraging. Make sure you measure correctly and take pictures for future reference.

I’ve noticed I slimmed down a bit also but still hovering around 5”. I’m stretching quite a bit maybe that’s it? I think I’ll start edging to work on my girth and jelq for length.

What’s your routine?

You overworked a bit so your erections isn’t at max. Or you made a mistake when taking the starting measurement. Your penis won’t slim because PE, you can bet on this.

2 on 1 off, usually 80-100 jelqs earlier in the day and 20-50 later in the evening. I try to get in a good amount of stretching at some point during the day and minor stretching at random points. Sorry it’s not very specific right now, I’ve just been dealing with the end of the semester grind and my girl leaves for a few months soon, so I haven’t really had time to work on my log or get a great routine going; I’ve been trying to get as much sex in as possible with my free time. But despite the setbacks I’ve still been gaining.

I also try to edge after jelquing sometimes. My goal is to keep a dedicated daily log of my PE and gym work outs when classes end this week.

But I feel like my erections are at a way higher level than before, like they feel like steel the majority of the time. Honestly, when I’m not tired or stressed and haven’t done an intense PE session it feels like I’ve got so much more blood going to my dick that it’s almost not big enough to contain it. It’s great and it’s been great for my sex life.

0.15 is in the realm of measurement mistake. Don’t worry, your girth will grow.

You took your measurments after a workout, so the swelling gave you a false positive.

No, lol I took my original measurements before ever starting PE. I get no swelling after a workout.

Marinera, I will take your word for it. Only time will tell I suppose.

Something similar happened to me when I started PE too. I searched around the forum, and found other threads like this one, and the consensus was the same.

I meant, you took the measurement (where you saw the gain) after a workout. So the swelling (associated with the jelqing process) gave you the impression that you had made more gains than you actually did in reality.

Basically, you though you had gained 0.15’ EG, when you had not. The “Interesting development” measurement, was a non-swollen, in fact, more accurate measurment of your EG.

^that just doesn’t make sense if you have been jelqing. Swelling is how jelqing works. If you apply stress to tissue it swells.

No… I measured it prior to starting PE. I’m not sure how much clearer I can make that.

I dunno, it doesn’t appear to be swollen to me ever.

I understand what you are saying. Before you ever started PE, you measured 4.75, and now, after a month of PE, you are measuring 4.6. Are you absolutely certain that you measured at the same spot? Was it mid-shaft? Base? The girth of those areas can vary significantly. I would agree with marinera that you likely took a bad measurement back on 3/7.
