It seems that if I jelq at a low/medium intensity, my EQ gets better and I get morning wood all the time. However my flaccid cock hangs very small and my erect cock looks as if I have never done PE in my life.

But when I jelq my dick a bit harder (and I’m not talking about total cock mutilation jelqing.just a bit harder. Upper middle level intensity), I have noticed that my EQ also skyrockets and I get better flaccid hang all the time. Aside from this my erect cock seems a little fuller, although I’m sure there are no serious measurable differences yet. However my morning wood decreases a lot (like before I started PE when I rarely had morning wood).

My routine consists of a warm up, 200-250 jelqs and a warm down 2 days on and 1 day off so I’m pretty sure I am not over training. I know that in the end, size is the ultimate PI.so what do you guys think?

If you joined on Jan 2009 200-250 Jelqs is a bit to much. Stick to the newbie routine for another few months. Or Jelq at middle level and reduce the amount to say 100-150.

If I were you I would reduce the Jelqs and give things a bit more time.

Add some stretching in there too ;) Basically just follow the newbie routine.


one month in (as of 02/12/09): 8.15" BPEL, 7.4" NBPEL, 5.6"EG, (5"-6.5" varying) FL, 4.75" FG, Height: 6'1", Weight: 190 lbs.

Currently (as of 04/3/09): 8.50" BPEL, 7.6" NBPEL, 5.7"EG, (5.5"-7" varying) FL, 4.75" FG, Height: 6'1", Weight: 175 lbs. (final semester of Computer Science > Gym :( )

Goals (in the next 6 months): 8.60" BPEL, 7.8" NBPEL, 6" EG, 7" FL, 5" FG, (still hopefully 6'1"), Weight: 200 lbs.

Eventually I’m going to add some stretching. I’m basically following the newbie routine but with those extra 50 jelqs. So far I’ve had no negative PI’s so I’m okay. Since I posted this, I’ve been doing 250 mid intensity jelqs and I’m glad to report that my flaccid is hanging much fuller and longer even on my off day and my erect cock feels fuller. No increase in morning wood though. Will continue this 2 days on 1 day off.

What are you doing to warm up if you’re not doing stretches? I would never exercise a muscle without it being warmed and gently stretched.

I started Jan 2009 with an increasing routine. Initially 5 second stretches for about 3 minutes in all directions I could think of, then 50 jelqs. Now on 12 second stretches for 5 minutes followed by 130 jelqs, then stretch again to warm down, then hot wheat bag wrap for as long as it takes to eat my breakfast.

All my jelqs are quality rather than rushed quantity. I too have that fuller hang feeling. Again, I don’t think I have tangible gains (haven’t used the ruler, it’s a Schrodinger cat/ruler thing) but erection quality is up (no pun intended!).

I either warm up in the shower or I fill a little container with hot water and stick my dick in it. I don’t really do any stretches yet because my dick is thin and I want to focus on girth. My jelqs range from 2-5 seconds. I definitely take my time as well.

I measured after my first month and that showed about a .25 inch increase and I don’t quite remember but I think I might have measured on one of my on days so I don’t really think that was a gain. Since then I have been doing a much lighter routine ( when I first started, I was a bit in a hurry and I was doing some advanced exercises.. But now I slowed down plenty)

I’m not sure about my intensity personally, but I think it doesn’t matter as long as you’re not hurting yourself. I personally do a modified version of the Newbie Routine, and I don’t know what people are talking about when they say that 200-250 reps is too much. The newbie routine says doing Jelqing for 10 mins, does it not? At an average of 2-3 seconds per, that’s 200-300 reps. I actually started out with doing 250, and now I’m probably going to up it to 300. It doesn’t hurt me much, although the stretches kind of do, but I’m sure that’ll go away when I get used to it. :P

Actually, stretching isn’t a warm-up, ginger7. Many guys do stretches after jelqs.

I like to do them before Jelqs, because when I do jelqs, I use cream on it, and I find it really hard to do stretches when I’m all lubed up lol

I stretch after my jelqs too, but with the same intensity as during the warm up and for the purposes of warming down.

I take your point that some blokes do stretches as a major part of their routine (probably leading to hanging?) but I am not far enough down the PE road for that. Yet.

I think you’re doing ok cause I was using the same routine but with less intensity with 1 day on and 1 day off.After 1 month I will raise it to 2 days on and 1 day off.I was doing this cause I don’t want to put a lot of pressure on my penis from the first workout.I want it to be slowly but sure.

There is definitely no pain involved in my PE routine. Of course, my cock feels worked out at the end of a jelq session. For a few weeks I was doing 200 light jelqs but I saw a total decrease in everything except morning wood when before, I was doing 150 more intense jelqs and seeing improvement in flaccid and erect girth.

Now that I’ve stepped it up just a little bit, I feel better at the end of my routine. In at the end of the month I might consider adding a few more jelqs but before I do that, I’m going to see how my penis responds to 250.

Less is more tends to apply to the majority of people so I’m with you on that. I definitely want to take it easy and condition my dick so that in the future I can progress to more advanced exercises.
