I recently was reading some of the posts in the injury section and it kinda freaked me out. There seems to have been quite a few of them. I’ve been doing jelqs and stretches for about 6 months now. I think I’ve gained a bit of girth and about an 8th of an inch in length. I jelq at a moderate intensity: not super light but it’s very conformable and zero sign of any pain. I try to be very careful, and not to over do it. I do one day on and one day off with 2 days off every now and then. My stretching is all manual and moderate as well. I’ve incorporated ULIs now, and that very slow jelq where you hold and move it up in small intervals over about 10 seconds.

There’s no point during my sessions where I feel there is danger or discomfort. As a matter of fact I look forward to them very much because they give me hope and happiness. But now I am a bit wary because of what I read, and I could NOT handle injuring my penis. It’s just an awful thought for me. I guess what I’m trying to say is this: whats the chance of injury when you are relatively safe like myself? I use no gadgets and try to go for slow, safe gains. I’d hate to be doing something I THOUGHT was safe then all of a sudden I’m impotent cause I was greedy for a bigger dick. I read a thread where some guy was jelqing only moderately then all of a sudden he got a stretched nerve.

If I am getting zero negative PIs does that mean my injury chance is very low? My morning wood is insane. In fact I usually get 3 of them throughout the night, each time I wake up. I have zero negative PIs, unless you consider slow growth a negative PI.

The main reason for guys injuring themnselves is overdoing the pressure or pull when exercising. If you are careful and apply reasonable pressure. ie. pressure and pull that doesn’t cause discomfort when you do it, then you should be fairly safe.

But like all execising you should take care of what your body istelling you If you feel pain or discomfort then ease off.
