Infrared lamps

Could anybody share their experience using infrared lamps. What are pros and cons, is it worth buying? Thanks

I use a ceramic emitter which is similar.

Pros
Constant heat source.
No messing with water or other devices that temperature drops and you need to stop and heat up.

Cons
More upfront cost compared to wash clothes or rice sock.
Trust me when I say you will only touch the IR heat source one time. Once you do it you will learn your lesson. Very hot
Need a place to set it up. This might take a little work. Might not transport well.

My flacid has become much more substantial and soft in the few days I’ve used a 850nm infrared lamp as my heat source. My recovery has also improved and I get less soreness.

There are benefits to that wavelength of light that go beyond just heat. Check it out on amazon

Forgot to add. Yes I think it is worth it. Especially if you look at PE as a long term commitment.
