Increasing training

After almost three months of the newbie routine I added some intensity to my jelging (ie: increased pressure and more reps).but I think I may have stepped it up a little to much. This morning I noticed what looked like bruised spots at the tip of the glans. Also around the rim of the glans there is some more discoloration. Nothing major, three or four spots about the size of a BB. I am going to take a few days off until the discoloration goes away, but when I start again should I back off of the intensity or the reps?

Back off whatever you feel gave you the spots.

Aah, this is the trouble with exercises that require judgement rather than measurement. With hanging or pumping, there are ways to keep track of the intensity as well as the time of use. With jelqing, manual stretches, etc. the person must make a judgement as to how hard to grab, pull, or squeeze. With time you will learn to listen to your penis and he will thank you very much in return. Take off a day or two and let him do his thing. When you resume, try to remember what it felt like when you did the damage so you don’t do it again. If you stay aware while you’re doing your exercises you can avoid this.

You should back off intensity, for first.

P.S.: what do you mean with “BB”?

I think he is talking about a pellet which is shot out of a bb gun
