I have been doing the newbie routine for a little over 2 weeks now. According to it, I should roughly double the amount of time I spend stretching over the course of 6 weeks. My question is, since all the stretches start out for 30 seconds, does this mean I should eventually be stretching for 60 seconds? Or should I do a 30 second stretch, stop, and then repeat it?

Unrelated question: when I do my stretches my penis always looks fine immediately after all the stretches. However as I’ve increased the length of time on the left and right BTC stretches (by far the least comfortable stretch for me) my penis becomes rather wilted looking (both in terms of girth and length) immediately after those two stretches (and only those two). Am I doing something wrong here? Am I even supposed to be doing BTC stretches in the left and right direction?

If you are stretching standing, imagine a compass face. S is straight down, SE & SW are a bit either side of straight down, E & W are directly to the sides, and N is straight up. Along with straight out, those are your main stretching directions. Each hit slightly different areas. I’m not a big fan of straight up stretching; it pulls tissues tight over the pudendal nerve, which I don’t think is a good idea.

If you stretch sitting, find the angles that replicate the feelings you get doing the standing stretches. If you are getting excessive ‘wilting’ you may be stretching too hard.

Move into the stretches slowly so that you can ‘feel’ the elongation as it occurs, and relax into it as it happens.

Increase the tension in the stretches as you breathe out; your body naturally relaxes as you breathe out. Keep the tension at the same level as you breathe in. If you are feeling what is happening in the tissues, you may only want to increase the stretch every few breaths. When you feel you have reached maximum length, there is no point adding extra force - that will just cause toughening of the tissues.

The above takes care of how hard you should stretch, and for how long. Hope it helps.

Things like this need to be collected all in one place. Really nice post.

Stretching is important too me. However mix it will jelgs or other exercises that are good for girth, or you might lose girth if you just focus on length. Girth is more important. But having to much girth could be bad. It would be hard to get good BJ or to have anal sex if you are into that.
