Importance of measurement and erection quality.

Importance of measurement and erection quality.

This morning I finally broke down and measured for the first time after beginning my hanging adventure and was disappointed to find that I’d lost 1/4”, or so I thought.

This afternoon after getting 110% erection while jelqing I thought I’d try to measure again and found that I had actually gained 1/8”!

The difference in measurement was down to erection quality. 3/8” in difference is significant amount to be in error, so there is a lesson to be learned there.

For me at least, who was devastated this morning, and elated this afternoon, and more motivated than ever to continue to hang and jelq.

And not measuring until the fall now.

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Congrats on the gains!

I just got myself a bib hanger and will start hanging in a couple months. 1/8 is awesome!

If I could expect that and the TiCats in the Grey Cup I would die happy.

Current: 10/22/12- BPEL: 9.0" MEG: 5.875"

good post!

imo,, i think when i measure / remeasure, ill make sure im taking some helper like viagra or another helper to ensure 100% erection.

Congrats bro, the perfect hanging technique is key for great erection, at least for me.

Congrats a-unit! Again we have to be reminded. EQ is so much of your dimensional size limits. The one dimension that is not affected by this is the BPFSL. (Flaccid stretched length) Pull it as hard as you can and measure. You can check it regularly where as the BPEL should be done occasionally with the kind of recheck that a-unit did. He could have felt off about it for another week or two and not rechecked. You will come to note the difference in BPEL and BPFSL and relate it each time you measure. It seems to me to be the best indicator of length growth and the potential for it. When the two are not far apart you need to work on stretching to get the ligaments longer. How you accomplish that is another matter.

Mind over matter. All of life is transitional.

Note to all: see that my BPEL and my BPFSL (BPSL) has grown to a difference of only 3/8”. Previous to that it was 5/8”. So it tells me not to expect any big gains this next month. It will prove out if my BPSL in mid August is shown to have grown or not and where my BPEL ends up. In my hand it seems to be growing. It may be just girth I gain this month or I’m dreaming. Hopefully both!

Completely agree with you about the difference between BPFSL and BPEL. Although traditionally people observe BPFSL gains, followed by BPEL gains a few weeks/a month later. So far my experience has been that my BPEL has gained linearly with my BPFSL, always having a .25” difference between them :)

Good to know -venom-. So maybe my differential will be less than 3/8”. A month more should tell me a lot more as to whether there is a pattern to be found. Whatever it is I am happy with my gains thus far. It would be nice to have them continue. I will stick to my routine and re-evaluate mid August.

I too am trying to look more scientifically at things, identifying correlations between various measurements. I feel like my BPEL and BPFSL are increasing at the same rate because I have struck a balance between the amount of stretching and amount of jelqs which I need to elicit growth in both the smooth muscle and the tunica. The true test of this will be in coming months, I am planning on increasing stretching time but keeping my jelqs the same. So in theory I should see my BPFSL/BPEL difference increase. I’ll let people know if they are interested in this sort of thing..

I’m interested! I don’t stretch as much as jelq so I have an imbalance!? We will see he it works with your trial vs mine?

I think the balance of hanging and jelqing I have been doing recently may have contributed to the 1/8” in length in the last two months, plus the aded girth (which I’m frankly not as interested in).

It has certainly pushed me past the plateau I’ve been at for over a year.

I don’t believe there is a one size fits all approach. There are too many variables to consider; warm up/warm down, technique, exercise intensity, individual adaptation response etc. I just think experimenting with ratios of stretching/hanging - jelqing will help people identify how much they need to do to see positive results in both bpfsl and bpel allowing them to see consistent gains.

True. That’s why it’s important to read as much as possible and try new things when you feel you’ve hit plateaus and when you find things that work for you, keep doing them consistently until you see results.
