Woa not so fast. How do you know which occasion this refers to? Et tu Brute is a very well known quote referring to Ceasar questioning Brutus on whether he condemns Ceasar along with the rest of the senators. In the play/movie they made about Caesar asks him this question right before Brutus stabs him.

And considering only a separation of letters from etu to et tu is necessary, I would beg to differ.
