Hi guys,

I’ve had about a month off PE now , I know this might belong in the injury forum but I’m still a newbie and I think this might benifit others starting out. First of all a big big warning to newbies , do not I repeat NOT overdo it , you’ll regret it , and stay away from advanced exercises even if you think you know what you’re doing.

Ok so about amonth ago I was getting great gains and decided to step it up with horse 440s , everything was fine the first two times doing 5 reps and then I stepped it up to ten , there was no pain but at the end my erection was pointing a bit to the right which was odd. I checked it again later on and it was normal but I’d noticed a sharp discomfort in the left side of my dick like a pulling muscle or something during manual stretching. To cut a long story short I found I had this pain all up the side of my dick for a while and decided to give it a rest until I was recovered. A month later I’m still not better , I found if I left it completely alone for a week it would be ok but then if I masturbated or did a very very light massage or jelq it would sort of “flare” up again and it’s not so much pain but discomfort in the left side like a tugging throbbing feeling.

This week I’d had about 2 weeks off with no masturbation at all and I was feeling good so I warmed up in the shower and went to do a light session as soon as I went for a light stretch (by the way whenever I massage or pull it slightly it within this time it would seem tight and rubbery) I felt the sharp pain immediately.

To say the least I have been very very depressed about this and really worried that I’ve seriously hurt myself / ruined my chances to keep doing PE , I mean I’ve hurt muscles before like on my hand from boxing and everytime I hit something that injury flares up again , what if this is similar ??

I’ve lost all my gains I think and it’s very very hard!

Does anyone have any advice or any similar experiences ? The only reason I haven’t been to a doctor yet is because I figure if I was badly injured (ie surgery required) then I’d be in lots of pain which I’m not but I seem to be in this limbo and my dick is not responding . . . . .

I just want to get well so I can get back to PE , I know you guys understand how that feels..

I had an injury also and the only thing that helped it out was time. I did just like you did in regards to giving it a week or two. When I would start back, the pain was there again. I finally took about 5 weeks off (lost some girth) and have just recently started back lightly, very lightly. I don’t even think that I am doing the full newbie routine.

I have taken a very serious look at what I was doing prior to the injury and have come to the same conclusion as you. Things need to be added in very slowly to your routine, especially the high pressure stuff.

My suggestion to you is give it more than two weeks to heal or get better.

I had a similar experience when I began. I got big gains quickly and kept wratching it up until all the fun stopped on a dime. It took me months to where I could comfortably jelq again and I still don’t stretch, as it usually brings back some pain. I went from intense stretching/jelqing in the beginning to now mostly normal jelqing and pumping. No more intense anything for me these days.

You’re just going to have to STOP and HEAL. Everytime you rush back too soon you reinjure yourself and postpone your PEing for even more weeks. I know it’s tough losing the gains - it made me sick at that time.

But when I started PEing again, after a few months of healing, I did a different routine (added pumping, quit stretching), the lost gains came back VERY quickly and then some. I’ve only mildly injured myself since, and I took off a few days and it was gone.

This is an order, keep your hands off your penis for several weeks! You overdid and now you have to pay for that impatience.

This has become a standing joke around here, but repeat after me: I have one penis, I will not hurt it, I have one penis, I will not hurt it. Say that at least 100 times a day while your penis heals.

You have to give this time, and probably lots of it. Don’t be depressed, just realize what you did and when you are able to start again, follow the newbie routine for a month and see how your penis reacts. I’m sure one of the vets will chime in pretty soon. But for now HANDS OFF.

First off you didn’t read enough about not doing advanced routines and taking it easy but to late for that. Live and learn. Do you think that you ruptured the left side??? If you think you should go to a doctor then you should? But it doesn’t sound like you did erection ending damage. And a doctor trip a month or two after the injury might not do anything but make you worry even more. If you had a real bad injury you would have had massive blood build up in your dick with extreme pain, like can’t sleep kinda pain. I haven’t had any injuries knock on wood. My advice is completely leave your dick alone for 1 month more at least if it keeps flaring up. If you think you need longer to recover then you need longer. Your dick will tell you when it’s completely healed just listen to the little guy. Then after a while you will be able to make him a big guy. Don’t get down on yourself. Your not the first guy to hurt himself doing some of the exterme girth workouts. You are now just wiser and you know what not to do. Keep your head up and focus on healing. Don’t rush back in PE just because your afraid of losing gains.

Try doing a warm wrap a couple times a day and other than that keep your hands completely away like everyone’s been saying.

Hey man, I had exactly you problem. I had to pause PE - I MEAN DO NOT TOUCH YOUR DICK, DO NOT MASTURBATE, LET ONLY THE NIGHT ERECTIONS DO THEIR THING - for 5 weeks.

Sorry you had this problem. Like Sunshine said, take time off—at least 2 months. Then come back very slowly.

I really think you should see a doctor about this. It’s easy enough to explain. Just say the problem arose after you squeezed your erection. DOn’t go into the whole PE business; say you think it happened during sex.

Also, please recognize that it is probably not a muscle that was injured. It’s more likely a ligament or perhaps even your tunica. I think it is especially important to see a doctor if your tunica was injured, since that injury could conceivably develop into Peyronie’s disease (extreme curvature) if it doesn’t heal properly.

Is your erection still leaning to the right? Or is it curving to the right. Also, does it feel like the site of the injury along your shaft or deeper inside?

I really really appreciate all the support , I haven’t been able to reply because I’ve been without internet connection for a while. I’ve tried a few light jelqing sessions without stretching and it’s mildly ok but after I get a very slight “kicked in the balls” feeling down my left side. So I’m going to give it until the end of october to heal without touching it at all ! My erection is fine and the only problem is the lingering feelings when I try to muck around with it , but it is however alot better than a month ago when I felt the pain all the time , now it’s gone unless I tug it !

I’ll check back in at the end of the month and then it’s back into it BIGSTYLE!!

Just continue to rest. I also injured myself doing horse 440s when I was just starting out. I continued light PE even with the pain and it eventually went away after about a month. Hopefully things will get better for you over the next month. Good luck!
