I Tanked My EQ

I think I have identified the problem as one with the right ligament. There’s a dull soreness that I’ve been kind of feeling pangs of sensation in again. On the right side this is very apparent. Does this give anyone a better idea of what’s going on?

I understand that now, I’m fine to talk open about it. I’m at the age where I do dumb things to my body.

This is the worst it’s ever been, I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on. Caring for my EQ is a new thing to me. I was taking the suggestion to do a hot wrap and try to edge. Do you have an opinion on the ligament pain I noticed? Feels like a constant little cramp on the right side of the base. Because I think that’s the root of the problem.

I’ll make it simple; warm compress and no pe,no physical stimulation, no checking to see if it’s getting better; absolutely nothing for at least a month. Do it and you’ll get better. Don’t do it, try edging or whatever and you won’t get better.You make the choice.

Reverse kegels ok? It helps ease the tension and I figure it’s just relaxing.

Warm wraps help with healing. But if edging brings pain, then don’t do it. Remember the first and most important rule of PE. There should be no pain. Anything that brings pain must be done away with until you are better conditioned. I suggested edging because that’s what I do, but only if I don’t experience pain getting an erection. I have never experienced pain by just getting an erection. I have damaged a ligament before, but only to the point where I couldn’t stretch it for a month. Not to the point where it was painful just to get an erection. Remember. Pain means no.

Not painful for erection, there’s just a dull constant ache on the right side of the base I believe around where the ligament is. I remember a few months back hearing a distinct ‘pop’ on that side when I was doing a stretch.

Flaccid hang is more than it may have ever been. Honestly I think I’ve been doing PE pretty constantly if you count every tug, jelq, and stretch for the past few years. I think I was over aggressive and basically never took an off day or rest. Hopefully no long term damage.

Well, it sounds like an injury. The pop noise usually indicates injury. So if I were you, I would take between 6 weeks and 2 month off. No PE. Nothing. And after the break start back up slowly.

Time keeps getting longer :’(

One thing that worries me is that this cropped up when I took about a week off masturbation. So I don’t know if not doing so will help or contribute to the problem. Hard to tell which is cause and effect.

I am 95% sure the pop noise you heard was just a lig pop. It is very common with PE and occurs with strong manual downward stretching. They are freaky but totally harmless. There is no need to take any rest for that, but other visual damage caused by overly aggressive jelqing, clamping or pumping does require some break time of 2 to 3 weeks.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

It is hard. My practice was every time I saw it or peed or showered I gave it a nice tug. I do it without realizing.

Are you still waiting to start leaving it alone? I think 100% of your replies have told you to leave it alone until it feels normal again. Whether it will get better depends on this.

No, I’m hands off. Haven’t applied pressure the past 24 hours or more. Even trying to keep myself unkegeled.

Erections coming back en force. No desire to mess with it. Just going to continue.

As a side note the reverse kegel does really help. Even during an erection it makes it harder and last longer. I basically had 2 hours of erection last night.
