I see all the information and don't know where to start

Let me just get to the point.. Where and how do I start? I’m not sure what I should be doing first, even though I’ve read through the Newbie routines. I have no clue whatsoever. I want to know:

Where did you all start? What did you do first? Any help will be accepted! :D
