At first it may seem awkward, or like you’re just flexing your anus like you say, but you will be surprised at how quickly the muscle gets stronger, and you will be very pleased at what it does for your erections. Trust me. Kegels are where it’s at. :)

Eventually you will be able to hold the muscle for several seconds. It only gets better. :)

yeah, I’m still in a phase where I’ve gone from a fraction of a second, to maybe 2 seconds at most that I can hold it—it just relaxes after that/ I can’t keep it flexed, even though other parts of my body stay flexed

That improves over time. I used to wonder, “How the hell can people keep it flexed for more than one second?” But it gets better. :)

Yeah, I hope I can learn to bounce my unit and hit the Gspot like some people have mentioned in other threads. Right now those muscles are still pretty weak. Give me a year though, and we will see!

No, not directly. Kegels play a role in prolonged edging, which can build up a substantial load, so indirectly they can play a part.

In anticipation of the question, “can kegels effect strength/distance of ejaculation?”: Yes, they definitely can increase the strength and intensity of ejaculatory contractions. In my case, I’ve never been much of a shooter, but I have a ridiculously strong BC. This is probably due to the fact that I’ve spent many years using strong kegels to short circuit ejaculation, but who knows. Strength and intensity of ejaculation, however, is very strong, though I rarely shoot very far.

When you make a kegel, you are clenching/flexing your BC muscle, which purpose is to force urine/semen out of your urethra. So when you ejaculate, those rhythmic contractions are BC muscle flexing to push semen out (involuntary). I find that if you can time your BC muscle and flex hard just as you are coming, you can basically squeeze the semen even faster through your urethra and shoot out really far. Basically when you come, you are “involuntary BC muscle contractions.” You just have to find the right time to squeeze and you will shoot far my friend. I mean when I get the timing right, I SHOOT.

Well, actually, kegels can be used either to force urine/semen out or hold it in. I’m highly habituated to doing the latter.

Yeah, I think that’s true. When I do shoot any distance at all, it’s usually due a conscious effort and timing the contractions as you say. :up: The thing is, the “milking” contractions of the BC can work both ways, so you’ve gotta be “milking” outward for a good shoot. My default milking direction is inward, so if I’m going for a good shoot, I’ve gotta consciously reverse it.
