I hope I'm clamping right

I’ve been clamping like this for a little while, but not seeing the gains I hoped for

I use a small piece of ace bandage, and place it in between my penis and a hose clamp. I tighten until my erection can no longer go down, even while not horny, and I leave it there for about 15-20 minutes.

After, I’m usually engorged and red/purple, for a little while, then it goes back to normal. Just wondering if I’m doing it right.

You may want to switch to a cable clamp because you can snap them off in two seconds should a pressure problem arise.

I haven’t had any sort of pressure problems so far, even when I seem to keep pushing the limits further and further.

I’m just wondering if a thin strip of ace bandage is the right way to wrap, and how important wrap is in the grand scheme.

I never wrapped with the cable clamp but I never tried a regular clamp so I can’t say. And it will only take one problem the first one to screw up a vein while you have to unscrew the hose clamp. I can’t say how many times the quick release saved my ass but at the time I was doing clamped squeezes and advanced stuff like that.

What Dino said. Also, if an hose clamp breaks it can cut your penis, even with the wrap.

I’ve been clamping like 15 minutes, twice a day in 10-12 hour intervals. I haven’t actually measured in a while so I’m not sure if I’m gaining or not. I guess I’m just spoiled from the old gains I used to get D:

I am clamping but I am sure that some where I am doing it wrong.. Any feed back appreciated.

First of all I clamp after 30 mins in vacuum tube at 5 - 6 mmHg

I wrap some “normal” soft bandage about 1” x 6” round and then a top piece of Coban (elastic bandage)

I use quick release cable clamps (as every one suggests) - the sort that can be undone in 1 sec if needed-

The problem is that no matter how tight I clamp - or to that matter - how gentaily I clamp it’s a 50 / 50 situation if I get hard at all.

I am aware of the theory, “tight enough to stop the blood leaving but not so tight to allow the blood to enter” - I think about sums it up.

But when (and if) I get hard, if I try for example a second clamp on the head the bottom clamp opens under the pressure! - So now I have to have a thin (reusable) nylon cable tie to lock off the 1st cable clamp - picture below..

So now you have my clamping life history, my questions are thus..

1. Should I get hard (just about) every time I clamp? It makes sense I should.. By why is it not happening..
2. What mistakes am I making.?

In the Uk we have a phrase, its “the proof is in the pudding”, which means, any one can talk the talk, but it’s the results that count. You can talk about cooking and how good you are but it’s the tasting that matters most!

Especially in PE, so I would ask you, measure and accurately measure and then you know if your clamping is working.

I really do believe that clamping is method that makes the most sense in thinking about girth. My “belief” is only based on reasoning and not on gains.. So it really should be called “faith” not belief.

I have struggled with measuring diameter. A string is OK, but you may pull to tight or too loose, you may measure to far up or two far down.

I stumbled on this idea. I found in the kitchen a pasta measurer. All it is a piece of metal with 4 holes cut in and you measure strand pasta so you cook the right amount for 1, 2, 3 or 4 persons.

Here is a simple way of accurately measuring diameter.

I suppose you could use washer or anything similar. And when it fills or touches you can accurately say your growing etc.

What do you think?

Ok, I will measure for today’s clamping, and then measure again in 1 month or so, and see how it’s doing

You don’t have to clamp twice daily. Stay on the 2-5 times per week range.

Or clamping OR pumping - not both at the same time. I think you are using a bit too much time AND pressure with your pump, also.

Maybe you should buy a new clamp. I dont think it should be undoing itself because of the pressure from a penis.

Oh, I had read somewhere it was ok to do every 10-12 hours.

Sometimes I mix an old jelq session instead of a clamp session, doing like 250ish jelq squeezes.
