I desperately want to do PE, but I am worried about past injuries

I really want to get into PE, but I am just overwhelmed. I did try PE (jelqing) for the first time last December, and I think I may have injured myself. Whether the injuries are temporary or permanent is beyond me. Although I will try and describe how it happened and what it’s like now.

Looking back at it now, I used to hard of a grip, and my motions were sloppy and too fast. I actually had trouble keeping my erection level down due to the latter, so that may have played a role. After doing ~125 jelqs I felt a sharp pain or sting in my penis. My penis immediately went limp and of course I freaked out at this, so my reaction was to take a hot shower and hot wrap my penis. After this I tried as hard as I could to achieve an erection to prove to myself I didn’t screw up too bad, which I did get a VERY weak erection. I also had pain in my general crotch region for many days after the incident.

On the physical side of things, my penis has like a “ribcage” appearance where there are vein like things on the top and side of my penis. Sometimes they are fully visible and other times they are almost completely invisible. To the best of my knowledge this is lymphocele, feel free to correct me if you think otherwise.

I know my EQ is not as good as it used to be, but has vastly improved since the injury to pretty normal, although it seems to take longer to achieve a full erection than it used to. Also I noticed my penis has a left curve which I would love to be straightened out a bit at least.

FINALLY, I can get to my point! I have been thinking about purchasing a X4 Labs extender to straighten my penis a bit, and maybe have a small length/girth gain along with it. With these injuries, would it be in my best interest to buy this expensive(!) extender? Or should I just do some manual exercises to fix all of these issues? I am mainly looking to straighten my penis and improve EQ, while additional gains are nice, it isn’t what I am particularly worried about now!

Please, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’d avoid the extender and try manual PE again, taking it slowly.

You talk about the immediate after effects of your injury but not about anything long term. You could have tweaked a nerve. The occassional sharp pain that disappears fairly quickly is not unusual and PE can sometimes cause these between sessions.

Your penis sounds normal.

Thank you for the re-assurance! The main long-term effects have been lower EQ, and less sensitivity (I think, although that part might just be in my head). If this is lymphocele that I have, is it still safe to do manual PE? Some sources say to wait 6+ weeks to let the fluid get out for good until all of the “vein” like things disappear. This means no sex or masturbating during that time, and I haven’t been able to accomplish this yet. If it is lymphocele that I have, to my (limited) understanding it is quite harmless. Although it would be good to have someones opinion who has had lymphocele before and how long it took to go away, and what they did while they had it. Again though, thanks for your answer!

Does it really sound anything like lymphocele? You haven’t described it that way. It would be the first time I’ve heard of PE causing this issue (though there’s a first time for everything). In PE, especially pumping, it’s quite possible for lymph fluid to not be where it should but it’s absorbed pretty quickly.

Please list your sources.

Well I can’t find exactly what it was that convinced me that it was lymphocele, but there is this (http://www.netd octor.co.uk/ate … lth/205011.html ) which sounds very similar to what I have. It may very well be nothing, which would make me a lot happier! I also did try jelqing (VERY lightly) a few weeks ago. I completely disregarded the possible lymphocele and just did around 20 jelqs (I know this is almost nothing). Although after I did these, I noticed small veins were more prominent. Maybe this is a good thing somehow, but because of all my bad luck with PE I am led to believe it’s something bad.

EDIT: I say "a few weeks ago", but was more like a couple months ago really.

I think the most likely option is that you are noticing something that’s just normal but you haven’t noticed before. If you are the least bit worried, go to a urologist. but this

«On the physical side of things, my penis has like a “ribcage” appearance where there are vein like things on the top and side of my penis. Sometimes they are fully visible and other times they are almost completely invisible.»

is what a penis looks like and doesn’t relate to the description you linked.

I suppose that’s entirely possible, maybe the reduced EQ and such was just a result of a “tweaked” nerve, and can be fixed with manual PE? I am skeptical my penis has always looked this way, maybe the attempted jelqs made certain things more prominent? I really don’t know but I think my best bet is to give manual PE another shot, and if I notice anything wrong I’ll see a urologist.

Jelqing makes veins more prominent but not from one session. Take it easy. Stop at the first signs that something is amiss. Take photos of your unit, so that you compare now to later. Go back into the past and take photos of your unit before you jelqed ;)

Alright, thank you very much for your help memento. You’re awesome!

Normally, the good thing about a forum is that you get information from a bunch of people rather than a single opinion (which might be wrong). There’s still time for that. Maybe someone with direct experience that is close to yours will post.

"Like a hundred billion hotdogs!"

It actually took me a little while to figure out where to post, but perhaps that’s because I was in a rush to post this.

After looking through the members pics section I have concluded there is nothing wrong with my penis. This is very good news! But it also means I wasted 6 months over nothing :\

Oh well, now is a good of a time as any to start my journey!

If jelqing gives you sharp pains, I’d avoid it altogether, indefinitely. There are other girth enhancement methods that can be used. Jelqs gave me similar sharp pains that I have now had for over 10 months straight. It’s slowly improved, but it has not gone altogether and might be permanent. I’m hoping to resume PE in January, and will drop the jelq from my routine. A lot of people get injured from jelqing (moreso than most other PE methods)…a lot more than many members of this forum let on. Do your own digging, especially in the injury forum, and you’ll find many, many complaints of jelqing causing problems.

Some people can jelq, others cant. All penises are different.

:) I’m glad you are feeling OK about your member.

It’s worth listening to Smallja, different experiences are useful knowledge and can at least emper our experience. I would say that I got sharp “growing pains” from jelqing and carried on, the dissipated when I stopped growing after I finished PE.
