Well I think there are a number of reasons why people consider surgery. I myself have gained over an inch and a half in length doing natural PE and have stalled out for over a year. That would be one reason at least for me. Others may do it because they dont want to spend the time or cant spend the time necessary to get good gains.

Dont let one thread discourage you when there are about 10,000 others around here.

Good luck.

Good question. Maybe some people don’t get what they want with natural PE.

Don’t let that stop you from trying it. It’s a slow process but hundreds of hours of hanging/streching do eventually make a difference. The kegels and jelqs can also give much stronger erection in a short time.

There are a number of theories why people don’t gain. I personally think that I advanced to the extremely hardcore exercises way too fast. Thus, I didn’t gain much at all from the basic stretching and jelqing and the hardcore exercises quickly toughened up my tissues and made them resilient. As we now know, resilient tissues are much MUCH harder to stretch. I would firstly recommend giving NPE a shot for at least a year or two and just see what your gaining potential is. Also, I am a big advocate of starting slowly and making small incremental increases to the intensity of your workout. I am definitely getting the surgery next week but even I will tell you, PE surgery is not something to be taken lightly. I hope your confidence in NPE has been restored.

Update

I just got back from the lab, the doctor required for me to have blood work done to ensure good health prior to the procedure. They also do an HIV test. It is very important to have this done because the risks are very great for patients with HIV and Dr. Rheinschild will no longer do them. Although, some places still will perform the surgery for HIV patients. Based on my sexual history (2 female partners and no IV drug usage) it is almost impossible that I would test positive for HIV.

ALSO, I have a full set of before pictures but I am a new member here and cannot start a thread in the pictures section. If one of the moderators could start a thread called “8-Ball’s PE surgery” I would appreciate it. I can post the pictures in the thread.

Goodluck 8-ball.brave man electing to go under the knife for those elusive gains!

It’s good to hear you have done your homework!

I Wish you the best and a speedy recovery!

Just started PEing.! No surgery for me “ever”

To those who have yet to see it, my before pictures are in this thread, and they will be followed by my many after pictures as soon as I get this done.

I have a question - how did you choose your doctor (sorry I don’t mean to hijack the thread and hopefully this belongs here)?

It seems to be a common belief here that there are 4 or 5 top level doctors in the US (mentioned in crash’s thread and other thread). Other than someone mentioning that they are top doctors - why are they top doctors? Is there some documented history of these doctors?

It seems that these mentioned doctors also seems to be easiest to find on the WEB - actually only ones that I could find for this type of surgery (in the US).

I’m asking this as when my relative had to find the top doctor (for specific cancer), they found lots of historical data on each research hospitals and their specialty (as well as word of mouth). I’m just not seeing why they are top doctors (they maybe, I just don’t know).

Also, good luck 8-ball! Wished I had your balls.

There are maybe a few dozen people that do the PE surgery in the USA, although most are not very well known. I choose Dr. Rheinschild because I had found a lot of his actual patients here and at other PE and surgical enlargement forums. He seemed to have the best track record, by far. It seemed that all of his patients were quite happy with their results. Also, he has been doing PE surgery since 1991 and has done over 4000 of the surgeries. It comforted me a lot to know that a large amount of his practice deals with not only enlargement, but fixing guys who had the surgery done by other doctors who had bad results and complications. After reading all about him I called him up and he answered all of my questions that I had. It was a relief that I was able to speak right to the doctor and not just a receptionist.

The other doctors who are well known for this and recommended are Dr. Whitehead, Dr. Reed, and Dr. Rosenthal. There might be other good ones as well, but these are the only names that I came across with a pretty consistent good track record based upon their patients satisfaction. My second choice would probably have been Dr. Rosenthal.

Good to hear; sheer volume of experience is almost always the best predictor of surgical outcome, whatever the procedure.

Good luck with the surgery, I hope it all goes well and look forward to your follow ups.

anyone else feeling a little nervous?
