How to properly apply heat

How to properly apply heat

1. I understand that applying heat is a good way to grow (expand) your penis (besides stretching, jelqing etc.). How is this working out ? When do you apply heat and how should it be done ?
For the moment, the only correlation I found between heat and penis is regarding the warming up.

2. I’m warming up by taking a hot bath before PE exercises, aiming my penis with hot water - is it OK ?

Thank you!

A hot bath before PE exercise is fine .. Just don’t get too comfortable in the bath and detract from your PE time !

Starting (10 / 2011): 6.50 BPEL, 5.50 MEG

Current: 7.50 BPEL, 6.00 MEG

Goal: 8.50 BPEL 6.50 MEG

I’m a newbie, but as far as I could read in the forum applying heat is just a warm-up and down, not a work out it self. (I can’t really imagine how it could become a work-out)

I use the hot bath for warm-down and wash cloth for warm-up. So you should do it about 5-10 min before and after your routine. (If the routine is long, an idea is to do it again in the middle, I don’t know).

Oh, I’ve just found it!

I was referring to this: “Not gaining? Are you using heat? Heat is the secret ingredient!” (firegoat’s signature).

I would be happy if he comes to explain..

Thanks!

You use heat 5- 10 min before and after you PE, one of the first things I learned when reading up on PE.

Firstly when getting into PE, heating is useful as a warm up to limber up the tissues so as to avoid injury. When you get more advanced, you can use it during a workout so that the penile tissue will actually stretch further, or more easily than if they weren’t heated.

A few years back some of the guys were experimenting with using cold at the end of a routine in addition to heat at the beginning. Way beyond my pay grade, so I will stick to discussing old school aspects of PE that have been proven true over +10 years. Which basically boils down to what Tweaking wrote.

Heat right before doing PE reduces you chance of injury and makes the tissue more malleable.

I started PE earlier this year, and around that time the forum was discussing IR lamps. Except for a couple of attempts in the shower, I have always used the IR lamp. My heat routine is like so; 5 mins warmup with the lamp, then I stretch. Once stretching is finished, I do my jelqs under the IR lamp. I did this since day one. The main consideration I’ve found is how close I should allow the lamp to get, it can make my dick very warm. Another thing to consider though is that I have only once had blood spots show on my shaft (quite recently, from jelqing with too hard an erection I think). That may also be down to me not having figured out just how hard I can train. I hope that’s of any help.

Using heat after PE makes no sense to me and almost seems counter productive. We warm up the tissue so we can deform it easier. During the exercise is cools down gradually until it’s back to normal. Wouldn’t warming it up again once we’ve stopped applying force make it easier to go back to state before exercising? Just a thought.

In my recent experience, heating afterwards helps to fill the recently stretched tissues with blood and provides a more rapid healing effect. I tend to find that the LONGER I heat for after exercising, the more my flaccid hangs the next day - which can only be a good thing. For somebody with extremely good circulation, perhaps it would be counter-productive for the reasons you stated.

My philosophy is to heat during the routine, as much as possible then let the tissue cool completely while it is still in the expanded state. Then just chuck on a loose silicon cock ring, warm down not required.

Same here, though I can’t use heat during the routine because I don’t have an IR lamp. I’d like to get one, though, I’d really like to see the difference between heated and non heated clamping.

The difference between heated and non heated pumping is astounding in my case. Pumping is the only exercise during which I can apply heat because I can wrap the rice sock around the tube.
