How to lengthen ligaments

Very thoughtful post.

The sole suggestion I can give is: next time you want to plot a curve, maybe you’ll save some time simply uploading a pic. (:

I’ll look to this thread with a lot of interest.

Very true about the plot!

I found this thread from a few years ago /forum/printthread.php?t=104906&page=2&pp=40 and read your comments. I can see that this discussion has been a lively one in the past. But, I’m hopeful that plotting the curve may just show something not seen before. Never know if you never try!

I’d wish. To be honest, I tried myself to go past the deformation point, using a lot of force - in the narrow zone between plastic deformation and failure. I was amazed to find how strong penis is - there isn’t really a way to cause much damage (at least for me - don’t try this at home guys). I wrote somewhere else and posted studies about connective tissue - there is a very long and boring thread, actually. Anyway, I don’t want to hijack your thread, just saying you could find these threads interesting if you have not read yet (they are short, don’t worry)

Wish you luck.

Deckker I think your ideas are intelligent, original, innovative and exciting.

With marinera, who I think has FAR more PE knowledge per square inch than most kinda watching, I think you are really on to something.

Been looking for your updates, results, conclusions but this newbie has yet to find any.

Any status updates?

Check that!

In my first year of PE I used a mechanical stretcher in a hot bath for a half hour at a time and gained a full inch of length. The turnbuckles on the device allowed me to progressively elongate my dick in the hot water in stages.

I have been asked occasionally about the device and I copied a device that appeared in an article written by Tom Hubbard on this site. He intended the device to be used as a long-term extender and I adapted it for use in the bath.

Unfortunately I was terrible at documenting my progress and so I have little other than my memory as a guide here.

Today in reading the tread by Bib on hanging in the hanging forum I came to the conclusion that maybe hanging in a three part session progressively adding weight as you go might allow a slower tension on the ligaments and thereby avoiding the pull-back effect f loading ligament tissue too quickly.

More proof that long periods of hanging may be beneficial?

The first page of the thread addresses the technical aspects of plastic deformation, and it is a large co-incidence that this thread appears right after reading and trying a new approach to my own hanging.

Dekker, I eagerly await the results of your ideas.

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Dekker hasn’t posted anything since the start of the year, although I believe he is still about!

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

Gee a-unit, another GREAT idea. As I keep gathering information I am becoming more and more aware of the importance of warming up. Now I am even starting to think in terms of heating up! Indeed, I even added warming up to my experimental routine coming up. I was going to, and still AM going to do it by bathing in very hot water. This is nothing new to me as I love taking long extra hot baths anyway. Now, I’ll just take a bath before a session.

However, the idea of stretching while IN a hot bath is a great idea and your results prove it. Thinking towards the future I might have to try and find a way to incorporate something like that as part of a standard routine. Thanks for the idea a-unit.

Hey firegoat! So happy I get to bounce something off you again. I kinda wanted to give you some breathing space from my constant badgering but since you’re here.. I posted a couple of adjustments to the routine you helped me with. Any ideas about the force needed to correctly stretch the ligaments in the stretching part of our routine? Always great to see you around gombah.

Don’t want to send you down another route of having to read loads, but you may want to look into infrared lamps… :) (Use ‘infrared’ as the search term, search entire posts, put my name in the user name box, select ‘find posts by user’, search all open forums, find posts from any date, show results as posts.)

Trying to use enough force on the ligs to produce plastic deformation is almost impossible, so a lower sustained force producing creep is our option. Heat lowers the resistance and speeds the process drastically. Long periods of hanging will work, or shorter periods of manual stretching, which will reach a higher force threshold than is practical with hanging. The optimum force to apply in manual stretching is discussed in a thread I’ve previously linked for you I think firegoat - Length Gains.

Although I’ve always advocated manual routines, hanging has a lot of advantages once you have perfected wrapping. I won’t get into discussing them here, as you have a routine already! But depending on how you gain you may want to do a bit of background reading on hanging for after ‘Phase 4’.

For those experienced in hanging: what does it feel like (for you) when you get a good ligament stretch vs tunica stretch. I personally have experienced a feeling similar to a very faint groin muscle pull. As for the tunica, there is slight numbness along side the soreness.

Also, I have read in other posts that the suspensory ligament is THE main limiting factor…and that it runs longitudinal within the penis shaft. This is actually false, that thick “cord” felt is actually the 2 dorsal veins (on top of each other) and the dorsal arteries right next to them.

Why i bring this up: when stretching flaccid I notice the dorsal veins regulate and determine how far my penis can stretch. The tunica/corporous bodies seem able to stretch even further beyond. So perhaps the direction needed to be looked at is in stretching/elongating the dorsal veins and arteries as well…unless that is what generally takes place when stretching.

What is the nature of veins and arteries in relation to stretching?

The cord are nor the veins, not he ligaments either. It is the dorsal thickening of tunica.

You can read a lot of thing in a lot of posts, but what anatomy tells us is that suspensory ligaments is not a big factor in length gains.

Can anyone give some input on why I’m feeling the after effects of hanging in the perineum muscles (groin muscles)…the sore feeling in the suspensory and fundiform ligaments is pretty obvious.

But what might it mean when the pulled soreness is in the groin muscles. Feels like a very mild groin pull injury (and it’s from hanging the same weight I have been using for 3 months?

I have never felt that before. However, I do remember someone maybe 2 people talking about feeling it in that area. They where hanging at higher angles. Figured I might not feel it in that area since I am primarily low angles.

Are you hanging high angles?

Funny thing, it’s all low angles to straight out with a fulcrum. I do kegels and reversed kegels however. I’m associating it with signs of a good stretch.

There is one thing I would like to point out about numbness: there are different kinds of numbness cause by different things. There is the obvious numbness caused by cutting off blood circulation, pinching a nerve (felt after the sharp pain), and then there is the type felt after being stretched (to any degree).

I got reminded yesterday of the feeling (or lack thereof) when I sprained my ankle, when my gf strained hers. There is a strange numbing effect after a significant stretch and a lack of mobility as well. Reduce the stretch of the nerve channels and you have an odd numbing sensation. I believe this is why my penis feels numb yet fully operational and erect when jelqing and erect bending sessions. The penis, when erect, felt malleable and I was actually able to “stretch” (while fully erect) to lengths at least a half in up to almost a full inch more. I cannot do this often however so I scatter these sessions out pretty far.

Bump…. looking at staightening out my curve and this thread seemed promising. Any of the original posters have anything to add? Results?
