Imagine dipping a smooth stick in runny honey, then ‘jelqing’ the honey off the stick. That should give you a feel for it.
If you are getting good glans (head) expansion and it feels like you are creating some pressure in the shaft above the jelqing hand, you are getting it right.
It can take a couple of months to really refine your technique. Be patient and stick with it.
