Boy, there seems to be a lot of newbies from down under in Australia.
Until I asked the original question, I was not aware that it was something that I was already doing. I’ve been doing it since I was a teenager.
I am not sure that I have been doing it lately, or I have just was not been aware of it. It almost becomes something you do without thinking, or it has been with me. Maybe I’ve been busy and just got out of the habit, I don’t know. When I restarted last week, I was unable to hold it more than a second or so at a time. But, now with a little practice, it is coming along just fine and I am almost up to 12 seconds.
Personally, I prefer to do it when in a flaccid state since you can do it anywhere. I do it while sitting at the computer, watching TV, reading, on the subway or bus, in meetings, and especially at night in bed before I go to sleep. Try not to make a face and then no one will ever know that you are doing it. While I am waking up in the morning and before I get out of the bed, I start again. If it is erect, then more the better! It is a great exercise. Try it, you will like it, I promise!
