How tight should I be setting my home build hanger

I can make it go infinitely tight, but that’s not what I’m aiming to do. I’m thinking I should go just tight enough so that it grips the deep structures of the penis, without the hanger being at risk of slipping/falling off. The hanger is a design I came across at Thunder’s Place using 2 flattened pieces of PVC tubing and a threaded adjuster with a wing nut.

I have been searching and reading up for an answer to this for over an hour, but would like to know the answer before I go to bed tonight!

The hanger is CCH3, many people get very successful hanging by this great equipment. I had tried this, but failed since I am uncut and lazy about finding the right wrapping.

Anyway, since CCH3 is using a pull-down force (gravity?) to press your penis, the tightness will depend on the weight. As for the gripping the internal structure, I can’t answer it.

Just searched for the CCH3. Looks like a quality design but it’s not the one I made. I am fairly certain mine is a Tom Hubbard design. The tension between the plates is variable with a wing nut and doesn’t depend on the hanging weight being used, the weight just hooks on after I set it all up.

So should I go just tight enough so that it grips the deep structures of the penis, without the hanger being at risk of slipping/falling off. Does that sound about right?

Hey Windsor,

I suggest you do some serious reading in the Hanger Forum before you start hanging things from your dick. Understand the principles and techniques first. You will be less likely to fuck your dick up that way and more likely to actually gain something from hanging.

Thanks Thunder. I’m reading more every day. I intend to stick to manual stretches and jelqing for at least 10 weeks before I begin hanging properly, and then start with around a 2lb plate and ease myself into it gently.

I finished building a hanger last night and tried it on afterwards to see if I needed to modify it or smooth any bits to avoid chaffing, but I won’t be using it just yet. From what I have read I will need to build up conditioning before I hang so I am more than happy doing some jelqing and stretches for the time being.

Believe me the last place I want an injury is around my stick ;)

Sounds like a plan Windsor. As long as you don’t go gonzo with the hanger you should do fine. Read a little, try the hanger out, learn to wrap, etc., all while doing a normal manual routine and when it comes time to seriously hang, you will be ahead of the game.

Like Thunder said, with CCH3 hanger (and those similar ones), wrapping plays a very crucial point, and from what I read so many threads about CCH3 hanger, you have to be patient in learning the wrapping, once you master the wrapping technique which is different for eveyone, you will be in the game. That’s the part where I failed due to laziness.
