I’m going into my 5th week and i measured last night and i have gained but I’m not going to update me PE stats till April is over. I wanna know how often do you measure to check for gains , Will gains come fast once you start to gain?

Once a month. After you have been at it for a while I would measure every other month or ever third month as long as you feel you’re gaining. Measuring helps with determining if you hit a plateau. If you hit a plateau, take some time off or change your routine.

I think once monthly is probably good. Much more often than that and you’re possibly setting yourself up for disappointment. (If you measure every other day you’ll be wondering if that’s really a millimeter gain, or just better EQ) :confused:

Regarding how fast gains come-anyone’s guess. We’re all different. Just be patient and enjoy the journey.

Yes i would not measure every week when beginning cause like said before your sitting yourself up for disappointment, which i think is why so many quit and think jelqing is a sham. Or even measuring everyday is just dumb as it would be very hard to tell.

Looks better, we appreciate the effort. Try to avoid writing ‘i’ instead than ‘I’ when referring to yourself, it makes things confusing for not English native speakers - for example in Italian ‘i’ means ‘The’ in some circumstances :) .

After the first year about every six months and occasionally,unofficially and out of curiosity, if I feel I have an extra hard erection.

I guess it depends on the program. I do 6 week programs and re-evaluate every 2 weeks or so. Each time I evaluate results, I measure.

When I first started, I measured once every two weeks. This continued until week 12 (3 months) and I’m now moving to a monthly measurement. I think that a fortnightly measurement at the beginning is ok as you are likely to see some beginner gains, and also can use it to evaluate your routine. As you progress further, and gains might be slowing down (as expected) it would make sense to reduce the frequency.

I’ve been doing it a month, and still haven’t re-measured. I want to see a result the first time I measure, so it probably won’t be for another 5-6 weeks. I don’t want there to be any doubt about maybe just not having measured correctly or something the first time.
