How many days off and long rest periods

Can someone make gains if he does exercises 3-4 days a week instead of 2 days on 1 day off?? (Newbie.exercising for a month)

Also I m thinking if 1 week long rest without exercising is gonna make you lose any gains or slow you down significantly because of low frequency ?

It seems like there is an endless possible number of days on vs days off with PE routines. 3 but I think preferably 4 exercise days per week is fine and the most important thing is to make it fit your schedule, so PE doesn’t become a hassle that you will eventually drop.

Usually week long breaks, or even longer are very beneficial, especially if your cock is appearing more and more beat up, or you start losing EQ. Normally these breaks are taken after 3 or more months of a regular PE routine, but if you make a mistake and go way overboard causing lots of damage, you should take a week off immediately to heal up and then start again at a more moderate force level.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I am sticking with the newbie routine. From all the posts that I have read here from the gracious senior members that is the way to go. At least for the first three months, then another assessment can be made. Just a newbies advice.

When i did the ‘classic newbie routine’ i did it 1 day on and 1 day off for the first 3 weeks and the remaing 3 weeks i did it 3 days on and 2 off. After that 6 weeks program i took a whole week off to decondition for my next routine. Ever since then I’ve been doing 5 on and 2 off

Current: 29 April 2013, 8.875bpel x 5.8mseg; bpfsl=9.25; fl=7x5

Goal: 9NBP x 6.25mseg and the best EQ ever!

I have been on newbie routine for 3 months. Taking a week break fromthe 5 and 2 cycle was great for EQ. finding I now have renewed energy to push for a little more expansion in jelq. I recommend extended rest.

How have your gains been with that routine and the break?
