How low can you get your fat pad?

Quick question about fat pads:

I was just wondering how low someone would be able to get their fat pad if they got to a low body fat percentage? Would it be almost non existent or would there still be a sizable bit of skin there? I just ask because I’m at about 11.5% bodyfat, and my fat pad is about 1/2-5/8”, and it would be awesome to gain a quarter inch or more just from losing fat.

LJ001.

There are some here with fatpads as low as .200” or a thin skin pinch. Think about it, top rank track sprinters, lighter body builders are going to have fatpads as thin as skin just about.

Kinpole is quoting 1/3” these days.

Many of us with 1” and even more fatpads - cause show alot more visible penis by just dropping weight.

I am in very, VERY good shape. I jog, run sprints, jump rope, do burpees, do difficult body-weight strength training, and have an extremely strict diet.

Guess what? My fat pad is almost 1” thick.

I think when it comes down to it, it really just depends on the person.

Those of us who have ripped abs, deltoids separation, and visible dense back musculature who still have
A 1” fat pad need to get it LIPO’d. Price quote of $2500, and they say you can go to work the next day.

The deal with the LIPO:

“As long as you maintain your body fat levels - a LIPOSUCTION-ED area will not gain additional fat.”
“If you gain body fat after LIPOSUCTION, the area LIPO’d will gain fat, but at a lower rate than previous. There are less fat cells to grow.”.

For someone who maintains stable body fat levels, LIPO’ing a fat pad is an excellent idea. You might as well get the lower abs done as well.

Typically, the longer we have fat in one area, the more of a B*TCH it is to get rid of. This is why so many people have trouble losing fat around their stomachs, specifically their lower stomach. This all comes down to genetics, as everybody is genetically pre-dispositioned to store fat in different areas. Pretty much everybody stores the most fat in their stomach/’abdominal area’, it is very rare to find an exception to this; the ones that are an exception are, in other words, genetically blessed (or “genetic freaks” as some call them). For men, another area we pretty much all are genetically wired to store fat in, is the fat pad. This is why pretty much everybody has a 1” fat pad, and thus obviously why that’s basically become the accepted average. It makes more sense for us to be wired to store fat in the fat pad though as it provides us with just what the name indicates, a pad [for the thrusting that takes place during ‘all-in’ intercourse, once your girl has expanded/”ballooned” enough]. If we didn’t have it, we would succumb to more pelvic damage during intercourse, and also I’m sure it wouldn’t be as enjoyable if with every thrust you could be aggravating trauma to the area.

So like I was saying at the beginning of this post, the longer we have fat in one area, the more of a B*TCH it is to get rid of. This is basically because the longer we have fat sitting/accumulating in one area, the more dense and fibrous the fat tissue gets, and the more dense and fibrous the fat tissue gets, the more of a b*tch it is to get rid of (even with surgery).

So to answer your question, there are 2 answers:
(the direct answer to your question is that everyone is different, and there’s no way of us being able to tell how low you could get YOUR fat pad down to… if you want to talk literally, then you could get it down to skin deep, but that’s pretty much guaranteed to require surgery)
1.) Lose total Body Fat %. This should help at least a little. I’m not saying that if you have a 1” Fat Pad right now that you’re going to lose 1/2” - 3/4” of fat pad, but it should help at least a little. However, usually the higher Body Fat % you are right now, the more “unit” you have the chance of getting back as compared to what it measures at right now (because if you have a higher body fat %, then right now you’re truly hiding away ‘unit’ that naturally would be there if you were at a lower Body Fat %).
2.) When, after losing total Body Fat % doesn’t net you your desired results, then liposuction of the fat pad is required (as djrobins mentioned).

Hope this helps, and feel free to ask any other questions that come to mind, I’m/we’re all glad to help!  !

I’ve lost about 40 pounds, and it hasn’t reduced my fat pad one iota. Even when I was about 10 pounds lighter than my current weight (with a six pack) I still had the same fat pad. Its apparently there to stay. Unless, as someone pointed out, liposuction were deployed against it.

So I have no clue how to go about it via losing weight, since that doesn’t work for me personally. But I do know it works for a lot of guys. You could also try topical fat burner things. Check out napalm (a name brand, not the WMD from Vietnam)

Yes. Thank you Fantom for posting that  . This is a prime example of what I spoke of in my previous post (the “#2 answer”). If, after you’ve taken the route of losing Body Fat % you still don’t get to your desired result, then liposuction is in order. Fantom is an example of somebody whose remaining fat pad is just plain ol’ stubborn fat (dense, tough, fibrous tissue), and whom’s next most viable, effective option [if he wants to lose more fat pad] would be liposuction of the fat pad.

About down to my knees, but hurts like crazy :p

But seriously: I hope it is not true that it is permanent, mine is very deep, almost two inches. I cannot imagine it staying that way if I lost a bunch of weight.

Fatpads suck. I think I speak for all of us.

Sidebanger, you should be able lose at least 1” of that fatpad and most likely more. Although
Some guys are pointing out pretty large weight loss, and no fat pad loss.

As others have noted, I don’t think there is a 1 to 1 correspondence between overall leanness and fat pad.

Many lean members report fat pads of 1 inch.

My fat pad varies between 1/3” and a 1/2”, depending on several factors, one I have identified as being how much salt I ate that day. It has also occasionally been between 1/4” and a 1/3”.

I have recently lost a lot of fat. Not much change in the fat pad.

Kingpole has speculated that there may be some correspondence between being predisposed to love handles and having a thinner fat pad. I tend to love handles. So there may be something to that.

@Eowdaoc

I’m pretty much the same boat as you, I’m extremely fit, basically a fitness freak & I’ve found that my fat pad is .7-1 thick. It all depends on your body, my penis sits alittle high, so that might be it, but I’m still getting nice gains :D

Fat pad only makes your penis look smaller from top, not from side or under.

Which one do you think would look bigger? Or does they look about the same?

A: 8” BPEL, 7” NBPEL

or

B: 7.25” BPEL, 7” NBPEL ?

Hanging through the year 2012. Check my log.

Mister007,

8” BPEL will look longer from the bottom, provided they are attached similarly. From the top, they will look the same length

Your fatpad is directly related to overall bodyfat. If you have vascularity ( protruding veins) across your abdomen down to through your groin, you probably are going to have a neglible fat pad.

I agree with djrobins, if you’re extremely lean, to the point your body looks like an anatomy chart, your fat pad goes bye bye!!

I’ve been wanting to address the ole’ fat pad for awhile. I used to carry around no more than 1/2”, but over the last 3 yrs. have been carrying between 3/4” to 1 and 1/2”, depending on body fat level. Before my body gets too accustomed/calibrated to that new level, I’d like to do something about it.

So, in the spirit of this thread and that thought, I’ve started a Fat Pad Challenge. Anyone interested in gaining cock by losing Fat Pad should feel free to join in.
