How long without gains

How long without gains

So, I’m curious - I’ve been consistent with PE for a few months, but it seems that for the last month I haven’t gained. I gained pretty quickly at first. My question is, how long do you guys think I should go without gains before I start to tweak things?

Currently, my routine is 2 days on 1 day off

Warm up
15 min manual stretch
Warm up again
20 min jelqing with pumping
Warm down
Kegels

Anyhow - I don’t want to stress too much, but want to keep the gains coming.

Thank you!

It is always tough at first getting the initial quick gains and then it slowing, I think if you haven’t gained in a month at all you should up your routine, try focusing more on the manual stretches adding more of that.

PE Goal: 7.5" NBP x 5.8" MSG

I’m in no way anything other than a noob, but it seems to me PE is based on the same principle as all body modification (including muscle growth): Overcompensation.

That is, new stress is applied, the body adapts. When you apply too much the stress, the body becomes shocked and cannot adapt and usually does the opposite. When you apply too little stress, the body doesn’t feel any need to change.

So I don’t understand why you shouldn’t increase your intensity (in duration, or frequency, or new exercises) if you aren’t experiencing gains. As long as you keep your eyes out for your PI then you shouldn’t have any problem. If it’s taking a negative toll on your stick then take the intensity of your routine down a few notches.

Oh, no!
Ok, lack of gains can be a matter of too low stress or too high stress; it can be also a matter of your body not being able to adapt to a specific kind of stress - so, different exercises are needed.

Now : it seems the last month you haven’t gained? How much you gained preivous months? How many months are you on that, exactly? Gains slows after a while, so you are nomore seeing gains weeks per weeks, so to speak. If the routine did work, than some week of deconditiong and a new try on the same routine is a good idea, before changing anyting, IMHO.

Well, I started around november and gained .5 inches. I’m taking next week off for travel, so that’ll be my decomp.

I had started in november with hanging (got over excited before doing enough reading) and I’m wondering if that’s where my gains came from. I edged back to the newbie routine recently to ensure I’m not over doing it, and maybe I’m over-doing it. That’s where it’s a bit confusing - too much or too little.

I guess after next week I’ll get back to the newbie routine for a bit and see if the gains continue. If not, I’ll step it up. Hardest part is patience.

I’ve been PE’ing for 6 years, and gains have come slowly.
It’s a little strange to hear people complain about a month with no gains.
It’s not THAT quick to build a big dick for most of us.
It takes time and persistence.
Be patient.
There will be many more months without gains.
If I could gain 0.2” in length or girth in a year of PE, I would be very happy!

Ahund - thank you for putting it into perspective. You’re right, I need to be patient. It’s hard not to get too eager. But also, if I was your size, I wouldn’t PE
