How I'm tracking my stats--google drive
I’m sure many of you are aware of this, but for those that aren’t I thought I’d share in case anyone else finds it useful.
I’m using google drive to keep track of my daily routine so I can compare any results I get with my routine. To keep it simple I’m including some screen shots. Step 1, use the template (very easy) to create a form. Questions can be anything you like, any format you like—multiple choice, drop down menu, open response, etc. At the end of each day I input my routine for the day by filling out the form I created. My responses are stored on the cloud. Whenever I want to take a look, google will automatically create a summary of responses. I’ve included part of mine in the 2nd screenshot so you can get an idea. I did nothing other than say “create summary of responses”. Google automatically presents the information graphically.
One of the cool things about this is that I include other things on my form not directly PE related, but that are important to me—how much I slept that night, what form of exercise (normal) that I did that day, if any, and for how long, etc. It’s all up to you what you include. I personally find this much more convenient than an Excel sheet. If you have any questions about setting something similar up, there are tons of free tutorials via google and youtube, and I’d be happy to help.
