Hey guys, this is my first post. First off, I love this website! But now to my question, I just started PEing. I checked the video of the wet jelq, and the guy is going to town on his member. If I do it that hard it hurts, is a little pain normal, or should I ease off?

Yeah he is going intense. No pain is normal, a little soreness the day after perhaps but pain = bad. That guy has got a conditioned dick (as you can tell by the size!).

Pressure = just over masturbation grip.

Yeah, i also noticed how hard he was jelqing on the video, his arm/hand was even shaking he was using so much force.

I have wondered the same thing—sometimes I’m not sure if I am jelqing hard enough. I’m not seeing many PIs at all. If my gains stop, I suppose that will be a signal to step things up.

Add intensity to the jelq by jelqing slow with a lite grip. By taking the momentum out you plump it more. Also you would be incline to injure yourself less. In other words jelq slow and easy, take your time, thiink quality over quanity.

This sounds like excellent advice, thanks KP.

I’ve been trying to make sure my jelqs last 4 seconds each, which feels pretty slow/ maybe even slower than the video example.

I should correct myself, I wonder if I can call this a PI—I’m noticing a slow increase in the vascularity of my penis. Today, at the store, I had to take a piss and I noticed my flaccid was hanging about 1” longer than it used to, and even though my penis was completely flaccid, there were some ‘new’ veins I had never seen before also. I have had some BPEL growth as well (about .31”), so I figure for now I’m doing ok.

When I started PE’ing, I noticed new veins also. I think that is normal. I am also going to re-state and agree with KingPole, I make sure my jelqs are 4-5 secs. Personally my routine is 3 sets of 75-100 jelqs split out through the day. I also stretch after I jelq. Always go for quality over quantity. I should mention I jelq pretty intense when I am doing it. I like to feel a pump in the glans (head) when I do it. You seem to be gaining, so I would continue with what you are doing if it continues to work for you.

Slow and Steady wins the race.

Start off with a light grip and then work upto a moderate grip
