Stretching consists of attaching a penis stretcher or “extender” device to the penis for set periods of time. The device exerts a constant traction on the penis, which, in theory, lengthens and widens the penis. The traction supposedly causes the cells in the penis to “split” and then reform and expand. Whether or not penis extenders actually work is subject to debate - much like all methods of penis enlargement.

In an episode of the Five (channel) documentary series A Girl's Guide to 21st Century Sex, stretching by means of a plastic-and-nylon penis extender resulted in no penile enlargement. A 30-day test was conducted whereby three participants had their peak erection lengths measured before the experiment. One of the participants was given a penis extender and was told to use it for 30 minutes to 1 hour each day for 30 days. After 30 days, the test subject who was assigned the penis extender was the only one who turned up no improvement whatsoever. The subjects who used a penis stimulating cream for penile massage and a penis pump, on the other hand, each gained 1 inch (25 mm) in length after 30 days. There is a high likelihood that penis enlargement only takes effect with regular expansion and stretching of the corpus cavernosum. The penis will have to be engorged and stretched. Passive stretching such as the use of a penis extender did not aid penis enlargement in any way.

Fake?

Only three participants huh! Hmmm, I think they need more volunteers.

Speak softly carry a big dick, I'm mean stick!

schnitz, can you link to the source, please?

First of all, 30 days isn’t a meaningful length of time to conduct a study on natural PE. Second, as kingpole pointed out, 3 participants is not even close to being a large enough sample size to draw from. Finally, I find the claim that two of the participants gained an inch in 30 days by any method of non-surgical PE to be highly suspect, to say the least.

I found it’s torrent:

Google

Note #2 of 8 in the "A Girls Guide to 21st Century Sex" series, contains this experiment.

"Named after your father perhaps?" - 007.5" :-pulse:

I’ve seen that material. Actually notice how the guy who measured them. It wasn’t really accurate (he measured it from a side, not from the top. And non BPEL, so it may be a relative result of inaccurate measuring, loosing a bit fat on belly etc. And they used it for 2 months not 30 days as far as I remember. And I agree that the penis cream guy gained a bit (for sure not an inch, but my guess would be around 0.4-0.6). Notice how his foreskin retracted a bit on 2nd measure. Also I think the factor that caused Extender guy not to gain was:

A) no previous PE ground, probably no warm ups, or non constant routine
B) he was (they all were actually) uncut. From my own past experience, foreskin is complicating the whole hanging and stretching process. Extender often slip off etc.

Bonus: Notice the blond guy frickin “:D ” face when he finds out at the beginning that he is 1’ bigger that dude before. Lol

It sounds like this “study” was not done very well.

But what little they did accomplish, (if anything), adds credence to those who say that jelqing is very important.

Sept. 4, '07: BPEL 6.875 inches, EG widest 5.25

Goal: Double digits

I watched it , and the guy who was supposed to use the ADS wasn’t using at all.Just by his commentaries you can realize that he stopped using it on the first week ahaha. He was facing a lot of problems just for maintain it stick on his penis, he couldn’t even sit with it! Watch the material, and you’ll conclude the same.

One day I'll be able to do PE o/

There was also a scientific study done in the 70’s to see if marijuana killed brain cells:

Does Pot Kill Brain Cells? (idea) by paybackprod - Everything2.com

As you can see, this rumor spread like wildfire and many people still believe that brain cells are killed.

Nothing can be drawn from the study.

What is the supposed cream that this guy gained with? Is is something that anyone around here has used an commented on? I am pretty skeptical of creams/pills and the like, but I would be interested to know what product was used and what was the active ingredient.

I can’t comment on the experiment not working, but what seems to bother me about the whole thing is that the show featured was “A Girl’s Guide To 21st Century Sex” or something.

Seriously… a Girl's guide? When did PE become something a girl should force upon a guy? I always thought it was something the guy learns so he can make the girl’s jaw drop after he “all of a sudden” got bigger.

So the target audience for that show would say something like: “Yeah, I got one of those stretchy things for (guy’s name) ‘cuz like he needs it.”

Did anyone else feel weirded-out by that show talking about that topic in particular?
